About The Victoria
The Victoria is a traditional pub in London at 1 Lower Belgrave St, standing on its original 19th-century site. The kitchen serves steak & ale pie, burgers and cod and chips, with curry sauce as an extra, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Screens show live football and other sport, and tables can be booked for match days. A quiz night takes bookings online, and dogs are allowed inside. The decor includes a family tree and knickknacks, set against wooden floors and leather seating. The pub sits a couple of minutes from Victoria Station, near the National Express coaches.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often point to the food, with the Sunday roast and the burgers named repeatedly. One describes the biggest roast with Yorkshire pudding, parsnips, cauliflower cheese and plenty of potatoes, while others praise juicy burgers, cod and chips with a curry sauce extra, a steak and ale pie served hot, and a sticky toffee pudding a bartender suggested. Close behind is the location by Victoria Station, which travellers use for a quick drink and bite before a train or coach, and the staff, described as friendly, welcoming and quick even when busy. Screens for sport draw a packed, lively crowd for matches. That same noise is the main complaint: one visitor found a football game so loud conversation was impossible, and another reviewer had a Sunday roast arrive slowly and lukewarm. One found the mojitos mediocre, and another was confused when a quiz night was listed as full at the bartender's desk while online booking was still open. Dogs are welcomed, and one reviewer's dog gave it a top paw rating.

“Love this pub and visit whenever we are in London. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. We've eaten here a few times and it has always been lovely. Will be back again next time we are in London and would definitely recommend if you are in the area”

“Typical English Pub decor and atmosphere. We happened upon the establishment unfortunately the same time a Soccer game was on the and the place was very loud to the point we couldn't even carry on a conversation. While the food and menu selections were par for a British pub, the roudy group of young people sitting next to us made the whole experience even worse”

“Somehow, every time I’m in London, I find myself in this pub. Tasty food and decent choice of beers”

“Booked a table for the England v Norway match. We had a fantastic night. The pub was packed and had a great atmosphere. The staff were cheerful even though they were busy and the burgers we had were tasty and served quickly. Plenty of TV’s so a good view from pretty much everywhere. Would recommend as a place to watch sport”

“Food was decent, but the overall experience was disappointing. Despite the restaurant not being busy, service was very slow and it took a long time for our food to arrive. When our Sunday roast was finally served, it was only lukewarm rather than properly hot. Unfortunately, both of us later became ill with what appeared to be food poisoning. While it’s impossible to know with absolute certainty, this was the only meal we shared before becoming sick. Based on our experience, I wouldn’t return.”
