Customer Review Summary
Sunday lunch draws the most mentions, with reviewers praising the sharer board, the roast beef and pork belly, crisp roast potatoes and the Yorkshire puddings, and calling it good value. Close behind are the burger, bangers and mash, and truffle parmesan fries, which one diner calls pub food that is beautiful yet filling. Reviewers also single out friendly, welcoming staff, including a bartender who went out of his way, and a relaxed, local feel with a proper cold pint, Guinness and cider. Breakfast served fast and outdoor seating also get a mention, along with quiz night on Mondays and board games over a long lunch. The criticisms are specific. One reviewer did not care for the new haddock croquettes, and another found both cask ales, Landlord and London Pride, were off on a very quiet Wednesday afternoon despite a good Guinness and rosé. Several reviewers say they plan to return after a Sunday lunch where the staff looked after them fantastically.

“Great pub in a brilliant location. The beer was properly cold, reasonably priced for the area, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Staff were friendly and the place had a really nice local feel. Definitely a good spot for a pint if you’re around Belgravia or Victoria.”

“We spent the afternoon at the Marquis of Westminster having a couple of drinks, lunch and a few games of uno and scrabble before catching our plane home. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend a travel day. The service from Joseph and Maeve was exceptional and the food was delicious. Thanks for having us and hopefully we’ll be lucky enough to see you again. Megan and Steve (Australia)”

“Fun spot in Westminster for a beer, Sunday roast, or quiz night on Mondays. Highly recommend the Sunday roast (upstairs). The croquettes were a new recipe (haddock) and we didn't care for them. The leek and potato soup was good...I loved the pork belly and the roast beef Sunday roast. Had a Guinness, a local lager, and a cider. All worth a taste. Overall great, helpful staff, and a good value.”
