  “Ultra cheap, although also ultra small lunch with a view in scenic Lincoln. The chicken was surprisingly good though; one of the most tasty dishes I've had in the UK in terms of British cuisine!”

  “We ate and drank in this pub for the 2 days that we stayed in Lincoln. (not the full 2 days !!!) It has a great selection of beers/wines and good hearty pub food and snacks/sharers. The outside seating area is great for people watching and listening to the occasional busker. We also did a Monday Night Quiz which was great fun. The location and views are great. The prices for food are pretty reasonable and the service is generally quick. There is plenty of seating over 3 levels.The staff are friendly and attentive. There are also cut price deals on draught beers on a Monday, so at £2.80 a pint that's pretty good by any standards. I'd highly recommend this pub to anyone on a short visit to Lincoln”

  “Great pub in a fantastic location between Lincoln Cathedral and the Castle. Friendly staff, quick service, tasty food, and good value for money. A great place to stop while exploring Lincoln. Would definitely visit again!”

  “Very nice clean pub, very dog friendly, the food was very well priced for the area that it is in. Nice size servings, Well cooked with a good menu to choose from. Easily order on the app via your table or at the bar. Give it a go you will be presently surprised.”

  “The food was absolutely amazing, the service was quick and the staff were very polite! Would definitely visit and get the cheeseburger again. My friend got the mac and cheese which she adored and will 100% repurchase.”

  “Great place for a drink. Didnt have any food but sitting outside in the sun with the view of the cathedral is lovely! Bit expensive”

  “I don’t leave many reviews but I feel I must leave on about the staff at the Magna Carta! Excellent service doesn’t cut it, exceptional comes close! I would like to especially mention Kerrie, who went above and beyond to make our visit so enjoyable! What an absolute credit to the team. Also a cracking pint of Guinness!”

  “Staff are friendly and very helpful. Lou served us and answered lots of questions that i asked her about the area and Lincoln. We ordered,tea ,coffee,loaded fries,garlic bread with cheese and wings. It was delicious and hot. Would highly recommend if visiting Lincoln. Didn't take photos as we were too busy eating.”

  “Great city centre pub. Can sit outside and people watch and also listen to the local busker who's great on his guitar. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Interior of pub is well appointed and inviting. Outside seating of you want to go Al Fresco too. Good choice of beers and ales. Located right next to the cathedral.”
