  “Thank you for one of the loveliest food/restaurant experiences I’ve possibly ever had. Jesus was an absolute legend, he was incredibly attentive and understanding of my partners intolerances. He has fantastic attention to detail and although you’re in a communal space, he makes your experience feel as though the restaurant may as well just be open for you. The whole team was so passionate about the food, that’s something I admire a lot. Jesus and Dennis were giving us tailored recommendations, yet absolutely nothing felt forced. That tiramisu is second to none. Thanks again to Jesus, Dennis and the team for a wonderful meal.”

  “Gino D'Acampo – Family Birthday Dinner We visited Gino D'Acampo for my mum's birthday dinner with family. We were seated promptly, and overall had a pleasant experience. The restaurant itself was nice and the food was generally tasty. I asked one of the staff members for a recommendation, and she suggested the salmon pasta, which I decided to order. It turned out to be one of the highlights of the meal. I particularly liked the type of pasta used, as it was different from the usual pasta shapes you often get with this kind of dish. There were occasionally some gritty, hard bits while eating it, though, so I'm not sure if this came from the spinach or something else. Hopefully it wasn't sand or grit. Chateaubriand steak – The steak was tasty, but we had requested medium and it was closer to medium-well in the middle. This was a little disappointing given the cut of steak. Ribeye – Nicely cooked and enjoyable overall. Duck – Two duck legs, so the portion was quite generous. There were no carbohydrates included with the dish, so we ordered some separately. Salmon pasta – Very enjoyable overall, with a nice sauce and a more unusual pasta shape. The occasional gritty bits were the only issue. The food took quite a while to arrive, although we weren't particularly bothered by the wait as we were dining with family and weren't in a rush. As it was my mum's birthday, I didn't particularly expect the restaurant to do anything, so this wasn't an issue for us. However, another table was also celebrating a birthday and we heard the staff singing for them. I'm not sure if they had brought their own cake or if there was another reason for this, so I can't really compare the two situations. Overall, the food was good and tasty, and we had a nice family dinner. The salmon pasta was particularly good, although the gritty pieces were a slight concern, and the chateaubriand being more well-done than requested was another minor disappointment. Otherwise, it was a pleasant meal and I'd be happy to consider returning.”

  “II wasn’t a huge Italian food fan, but was tired from the conference and decided to order the food to my room from restaurant. This place has changed my mind. Firstly, amazing selection of veggie sides which is always appreciated. And great portions and perfectly cooked. The bruschetta was fresh and not too oily which was nice. But the star was the mushroom risotto which had a vegan option. 🙏🙏🙏 This was the best risotto I’ve ever had, and it was vegan!!! Unbelievable. Firstly, I’m so grateful they could make it vegan (it says on the menu, you don’t even have to ask), and secondly, you’d never know they didn’t use normal ingredients.👌 I’d have called to thank them but I was in a food coma from forcing myself to eat it all. 😅”

  “Second time I've been here in two years. The staff are unbelievably attentive and the restaurant is stylish and modern without being garish. We had the antipasto starter and it was a great start to the meal followed by ducks legs in orange sauce with a side of roast potatoes, fettuccine with white sauce and a carbonara. The only desert we had was a tiramisu. All perfectly cooked but the stand out was the duck. The sauce was amazing and the duck was melt in the mouth.”

  “Fantastic restaurant, wonderful food, reasonably priced for the quality, and friendly and attentive staff too. Our main waiter was Alfredo (I think) and he was really, really good. Would definitely recommend.”

  “We had the loveliest afternoon ever! The food was all delicious and the service was wonderful. The minestrone soup was so rich and tasty without being heavy, and the focaccia was lovely. The asparagus was fresh and the sauce and egg were so flavourful and soft too. The tiramisu was delicious, moist and creamy. The lasagne, chicken, sea bass and arrabbiata were all very appreciated by the group, as were the creme brulee, gelato and cheesecake. Felix was hilarious and helpful, and Darren was very hospitable and friendly and oversaw our meal to make it the perfect dining experience. Thank you! We will definitely be back soon.”

  “Just had lunch here today as a party of three and what an absolute pleasure. Staff give first class customer service. Food is beautiful and the portions are right up my street. No need to stop off for a top up after a meal here I don’t think I will be eating tea. Will def be returning.”

  “We came here for a birthday celebration. We were greeted warmly by all the staff. Jesus was our waiter and was very attentive to our party. The food and drinks were excellent. There was hardly any wait time and the food tasted fresh. We didnt feel rushed and was enjoying the time. The location is quite close to the city centre and tram stops. The decor was beautiful.”

  “We visited a couple of weeks ago and booked via the first table offer so our food bill was 50% off. We got the calamari and prawn tempura and both were very tasty. My friend got the ravioli and she loved it and I got a pasta dish which was ok but did not have much sauce so it was very dry. Overall the food was good and would recommend. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the place was quiet when we visited so that formed the perfect atmosphere for us.”
