About Gigi Gusto Griglia
Gigi Gusto Griglia is an Italian restaurant and cocktail bar in Manchester, on 4 Lloyd St, run as a grill room inspired by Italy's golden age. Live music and DJs from local musicians play in the venue, which gives the evening a programme of its own. The menu starts with Vegan Dough Petals, lists carbonara among the pasta dishes, and finishes with tiramisu. Service is at the table, and the team checks in on guests throughout the meal. Early arrivals can wait in the bar area with a drink before being taken to their table. The dining room is large and decorated.

Customer Review Summary
Servers are the most repeated draw, with most reviewers describing a friendly, attentive waiter who kept glasses full and checked in regularly. Food arrives quickly, and diners name the lasagna, carbonara, duck leg, Pollo Al Pesto and calamari, along with a burger one reviewer calls a standout, while tiramisu and a pizza also get praise. One diner found the spiced rum and coke strong, just as they like it. The room is described as grand but not pretentious, with a chilled out ambience, and one party who arrived early waited at the bar and started on drinks. The one real complaint comes from a vegan diner who says the menu has shrunk to two mains. Their Miso Aubergine Steak was overpriced for half an aubergine with a spoonful of pepperonata, too little miso and no discernible garlic in the potatoes, though the vegan dough petals were delicious. Birthdays and anniversaries recur, and one family was brought a birthday dessert.
