About Drouthy's
Drouthy's is a Glasgow pub at 155 Queen St, styled like a Highland lodge with wood-panelled walls and antlers. The bar pours draught beer, with West St Mungo lager from Glasgow among the local brews and a malt whisky collection for whisky drinkers. The kitchen serves fish and chips, and a cooked breakfast with vegetarian options is on offer as well. Football and other sport play on screens, including matches on Sky Sports and TNT Sports, and karaoke adds a night-out option for groups of friends. Dogs are welcome, so regulars can bring their pets along. The pub sits close to the train station.

Customer Review Summary
Fish and chips come up most often, described as decent with generous portions, though one reviewer calls them nothing great. A steak and ale pie, nachos with a pint of Guinness, a halloumi flatbread (one found the flatbread a bit hard), and brownie and sticky toffee pudding also get mentions, along with a breakfast several reviewers praise. Draft beer is called great and reasonably priced. Reviewers repeatedly describe a lively, welcoming atmosphere with good music, busy even before Christmas and on a Sunday, and one notes reserving a table paid off. Staff earn consistent praise as friendly and attentive, with one server checking in just the right number of times. The main complaint is from a diner who came to watch a football match, found the karaoke that started at the same time unbearably loud, and left with food and pints barely finished to watch the game at the hotel. Others look forward to the weekend karaoke, and one reviewer describes getting a free starter straight away after signing up on the ordering app.

“Stopped in after a long travel day for a beer or two and some fish and chips. Great draft beer at a reasonable price. Fish and chips were above average, nothing great but decent size portions. People were very friendly and the overall atmosphere was damn good. We went back a couple of times for beers.”

“Great pub. Fantastic service fron Karen, Nik. Jimmy the chef makes a a class breakfast. Been coming to the pub for years and it never disappoints. All the staff and manager victoria are friendly and go out their way to make sure you feel welcome. Highly recommend this pub if it's just for a quiet drink or meet up with friends.”

“Had such a brilliant time here! The atmosphere was amazing from the minute we arrived — really lively and welcoming, with great music that made the whole place have such a good vibe. The food was also delicious and we really enjoyed everything we ordered. The service was one of the highlights for us, especially Carly who was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly, attentive and helpful throughout our visit and nothing was ever too much trouble. She was always checking that we had everything we needed and did it all with a smile. You can really tell when someone genuinely cares about giving good service, and Carly definitely does — she’s an absolute credit to the place! Between the great food, brilliant music, lovely atmosphere and amazing service, we couldn’t fault our visit. We had such a good night and will 100% be back. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere with a great atmosphere for food, drinks and music! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Felt welcome from the minute we walked in. We had a table booked for food and to watch the NGL. Glad we'd reserved a table as it was really busy when we arrived at 5.30 on a Sunday. We were met at the bar by Carly who served us a drink whilst we waited a short time for our table to be ready. She took us to the table and explained the menu and the ordering on the app option. Carly came over to let us know the kitchen would be closing soon and prompted us to order - which we did on the app, getting a free starter straight away so worth signing up) We had fish, chips & peas which was good and a flatbread with halloumi which was tasty but the flatbread was a bit hard. We also had one of each of the desserts - brownie & sticky toffee pudding which were both really nice. Carly checked on us just the right amount of times so we didn't feel ignored but that our custom was appreciated. Overall we had a really good experience in Drouthy's. The atmosphere was great and the staff & service were really good.”

“Amazing Experience We had such a wonderful experience! The cappuccino was amazing, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious, with great options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. A special thank you to Karen, who was an incredible host and so kind and welcoming to my visiting family. She truly made us feel at home and took such great care of everyone. I can’t fully explain how happy my family felt after the meal—we all left with full stomachs and even fuller hearts! Thank you for making our visit so special. Highly recommended!!”
