About Ralph & Finns
Ralph & Finns is a bar with an art deco dining room in Glasgow, open daily at 23-25 St Vincent Pl. The bar area has seating for guests and serves cocktails, wines and beers, and the staff will make a cocktail that is not on the menu. A separate whiskey room gives diners somewhere to sit before or after a meal. In the dining room, a two-course set lunch menu sits alongside mains of steak and chips and haddock with chunky chips, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The private Boardroom dining room is set aside for groups, who eat from a set menu. Live music plays at weekends.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often come for the set menu at lunch and dinner, praising the portions and the choice, with the haddock, steak and fries, and veal singled out as well cooked. The sticky toffee pudding is called the best part of one night, and close behind are the chicken liver pâté, the haddock tortillas, and the oysters and olives at the bar. Several describe a relaxed room with beautiful decor, a whiskey room, and a bar that makes off-menu cocktails on request. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and attentive, including for a group of sixteen before a show and a private dinner for twenty in the Boardroom. The criticisms are small. One diner found service slow to take food and drink orders and the small bottle of coke pricey, and the same reviewer noted grimy light fittings and windows and a spider dropping onto the table. Another found the tomato and mozzarella forgettable and the pâté plating awkward. One family's son preferred chunky chips to the skinny fries, and a discretionary service charge was added to that bill.

“First time eating in this place. 16 of us as were going to a show in the theatre. Service was excellent considering we were a large group. We mostly all had the set menu 2 courses. Food was delicious and good portion size. We all enjoyed it and all said we would go back the next time we are in Glasgow.”

“Lovely restaurant! First time dining here and won’t be the last. Food & service were great. We did the set lunch menu, great choice & great value (£21.50). Beautifully decorated restaurant, there’s the dining area, bar area and whiskey room where you can sit pre and post meal too. Highly recommend and only a few mins walk from Queen Street Train Station.”

“Private dining - The Boardroom Saturday 18th July, we had 20 friends join us to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We all enjoyed the set menu “B” with lots of cocktails & wine. The staff attentiveness was on point, they were confident, knowledgeable & conversational. Food was tasty & good sized portions. The Boardroom was a lovely touch to make the experience more memorable.”

“We stopped for a late lunch family meal to celebrate my son’s graduation and dined on their set two course lunch menu. Good choice on offer with a couple of additional cost items listed. Service was a bit slow to take orders (drinks and the food order) although we weren’t in a rush so was OK. Food nicely presented and very good overall (my son didn’t like the skinny fries with his main, preferred the chunky chips we had with our haddock). Cocktails 2 for £16, on par with most city centre bars, were well made. £3.50 for a small bottle of coke was a bit pricey (not even full can size) but ho hum. Discretionary 10% service charge added (mentioned it was not a gratuity). £190 for 5 people for lunch. But was a special occasion and the lunch was good with nice surroundings and pleasant non rushed pace. (They could do with a deep clean on their light fittings and windows, looks like the air con has been mucking them up, and a spider decided to abseil down onto our table at one point 😱)”

“I was pleasantly surprised by the food, atmosphere, and service here. Overall, a great meal and I would definitely return! Starters: The chicken liver pâté was delicious, though the plating made it a little difficult to eat. The tomato and mozzarella was pleasant, if not particularly memorable. Mains: The haddock tortillas were a highlight—fresh, clean, and a very generous portion. The steak was also perfectly cooked and came with a great serving of fries. Dessert: Whatever you do, save room for the sticky toffee pudding. It was a 10/10 and easily the best part of the night. Great vibes and friendly service. Highly recommended!”
