About Scotland Meets Sardinia Supperclub
Scotland Meets Sardinia Supperclub serves Italian dinners on Ocean Dr in Edinburgh, hosted in the chef's own home rather than a conventional dining room. The menu draws on Sardinian dishes reworked with Scottish produce, with focaccia and fregola among the twenty dishes offered. Octopus also appears as a recurring plate. Guests are welcome to bring their own wine, and the chef closes the meal with Sardinian liqueurs. Through the evening, the chef talks through the dishes and the stories behind the ingredients. The restaurant takes walk-ins, and it opens Monday to Saturday, closing on Sundays.

“An unforgettable evening at Luisa's supperclub — one of those rare experiences that stays with you long after the last bite. The focaccia alone is worth the trip: soft, fragrant, absolutely perfect. But it's the whole picture that truly impresses. Top-quality Scottish produce, handled with exceptional technique and a level of care that comes through in every single dish. Luisa is a genuinely talented chef, and it's clear that food is her great love — not just her profession. The flavours and aromas are unmistakably Italian, yet they weave beautifully with local ingredients and modern techniques to create something unique. The atmosphere is cosy, thoughtfully curated, and warmly intimate — you feel like a treasured guest, not just a diner. Highly, highly recommended.”

“Luisa gave us such a warm welcome and her fabulous passion and skill were clear throughout our special evening. Every dish was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked, and we appreciated the explanations - she brought it all to life e.g. sharing that her dad makes the olive oil. It's great to be able to take your own wine and Luisa is a a perfect host, even offering liquors from Sardinia to conclude our delicious meal. We are in awe of how Luisa can appear so relaxed and chatty when preparing and serving such high quality, complex food. Highly recommend! Grazie mille, Luisa! 🏴🇮🇹”

“When people talk about “feeling at home,” this is exactly the feeling you get at Scotland Meet Sardinia. Not only because this wonderful dinner takes place in the cosy home of the Sardinian chef Luisa, but because the flavours of the two places I call home truly come together. Fresh ingredients and authentic flavours that take me straight back to Sardinia, beautifully combined with the best of Scottish produce. Creativity, great taste, and warm Sardinian hospitality make this a truly special culinary experience. The octopus was incredibly tender and flavourful, the best I’ve ever had in Scotland (such a shame I don’t have photos of it, too good to waste time ajajaj!). And the Sardinian lamb with olives, reimagined in a modern way as a croquette… amazing! I usually don’t like lamb, but this dish completely changed my mind. The red mullet beccafico, served on breaded burrata with pane carasau and accompanied by sweet and sour onions, was fantastic, a perfect “land and sea” combination: satisfying yet not heavy. Everything was delicious, from the starters to the fregola, all the way to dessert, a beautiful chocolate sphere that you almost feel sorry to break because it looks so stunning… but trust me, it’s absolutely worth it. An experience I highly recommend, definitely one to try!”
