Customer Review Summary
Friendly staff are what reviewers mention most, from bar staff who give a visiting dog water and treats to a server who made a birthday group of adults with learning disabilities feel welcome. Regulars describe weekly Sunday visits and real friendships with the team. Close behind are reasonably priced food and a good choice of ales, with one diner pleased that a rare steak arrived rare and hot. Sport on the televisions, plenty of dartboards and a good pool table also get praise. Food draws the sharpest complaints: one reviewer found a half chicken grey and a rump steak ordered medium rare overdone, another could not customise a gammon order in the app, and one reports a Friday with no kids' drinks or crisps and a long wait to be served. One visit found the kitchen closed and no ales or IPA.

“Unfortunately the kitchen was closed and they had no ales or ipa when I visited. So I can't comment on the food quality l, the drink selection outside of lager and cider was quite poor. But the service was excellent.”

“Me and my best friend Josh always try to come here every Sunday. Not just because the food is reasonably priced. And the food is also good for that. But also due to the friendship with all the staff that works here. I can't believe it's taken me this long to review here after we have came here every week for almost two years. Jamie, Andy. And the other staff are always excited to see us. And we, excited to see them. Love you two!”
