  “Wow .. the problem about writting a great review is the fact that the place gets busy and sometimes as a result quality dips .. Well having been back 3 times i can honestly say this place is an absolute gem of a place . Yes it does get busy , so no matter when you are thinking of going , i would definately recommend that you book in advance 😀 Yes it does get busy , but the standards have not slipped at all .. friendly helpful staff , atmosphere and of course the quality of the food are all top notch 😍 Most people , including me , go there for the carvery , which is available in 2 sizes and prices .. personally the smaller one would suit most sized appetites .. There is a large , and i mean large array of veg to choose from and of course if you like gravy , thats there too as is other sauces . The thing i love most about the veg is that there is very little / no pepper added , but if pepper is your thing you can always add your own . One of the biggest problems , if you can call it a problem , is finding room on your plate for all the wide choice of veg that there is on offer 🤣 Obviously they serve soft and alcholic drinks and there seems to be a good selection and as im always driving i can only say that the full fat coke is what you expect it to be 🤣 As far as puddings go , i cant comment because im always too full to try any 🤣 Price wise , its very reasonable . As with all my reviews , i would say go and try this place out with an open mind , but , i really dont think you will be dissapointed 😀”

  “Pudding not as described. Cherry Eton mess was basically sundae glass filled with ice cream, squirt cream on top and a mini amount of cherries and meringue at bottom Definitely not what I call an eton mess. Complained and was ignored”

  “Honestly every time I come here for a steak I ask for medium rare and then it comes very well done to the point the steak isn’t even brown and it’s grey I asked them to ask the chef about it and they sent back another steak that was the same texture and type”
