About The Dinorben Arms
The Dinorben Arms is a pub in Denbigh, on Bodfari, set in an old village building with a beamed snug at the front and an old well in front of the bar. A tall tower added at the rear looks out over the hills, and the seating runs across several levels, so the pub has different rooms to explore. The kitchen serves a Sunday roast that includes a Welsh Beef Roast, with roast potatoes and mash alongside. The menu also lists crispy squid and fish and chips, and the daily menu carries a date. The drinks list covers cocktails as well as Wrexham lager. A private dining room gives groups a space of their own. Dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Roast dinners lead the praise, with four at one table ordering the Welsh Beef Roast and another reviewer calling the Sunday roast exceptional. Close behind are the crispy squid with chilli dip and the fish and chips, described as fresh and crispy, along with shared starters that one table found full of flavour. Drinks draw comment too, from a cold Wrexham lager in hot weather to a different cocktail each and the Damm Lemon. Several reviewers describe the terraces and seating areas on different levels, with stunning countryside views. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and attentive, and a few reviewers came back more than once during their stay. The recurring complaint is the potatoes. One reviewer found the roast potatoes slightly dry, and another said the mash and roast potatoes were clearly frozen. One server brought a water bowl for a diner's dog, and another staff member brought two extra jugs of gravy free of charge.

“Amazing service by young chap Owen at the bar. Took our drinks order and showed us to our table. He popped back with a water bowl for our dog. Sunday roast was exceptional, as was the service from other team members”

“We had a beautiful visit to Dinorben Arms after walking around Loggerheads for the morning. I actually booked this due to the amount of great reviews especially about the food and safe to say we were really impressed. The staff were so lovely here, always smiling and happy to help! One of the staff members (tall man with orange glasses and a colourful checkered shirt) noticed that we were short on gravy and brought us two extra jugs over free of charge. Also a special mention to Jane, she was so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our time here, thanks Jane! The 4 of us all ordered the Welsh Beef Roast and it was lovely. Truly delicious and a generous portion, the only comment I have is the roast potatoes were a slightly dry, apart from that genuinely delicious. The pub itself was beautifully decorated, it had a cosy feel throughout and you felt right at home. Also there were so many options for seating, especially outside with the several terraces all with stunning views of the countryside. Would 100% recommend anyone to visit here, I will definitely be visiting again :)”

Highlights
“The Dinorben Arms sits in the heart of the small village of Bodfari, nestled in the shadows of St Stephen's church. The building is steeped in history and loved by many who remember her of old; 1970's dinner dates in the beamed snug at the front of the building which greets you as you enter via the front doors or childhood memories of peering into the old well which now sits in front of our bar. A tall tower has been added to the rear of the building with a spacious terrace, to take in the glorious views across the stunning hills beyond. We hope you will find her a seamless mix between old and new.”
