Customer Review Summary
The carvery is the most frequent draw. Diners praise the choice of topside beef, gammon or pork, the Yorkshire pudding, pigs in blankets, sausage stuffing and rich, tasty chicken gravy, and call the puddings very nice. One reviewer found the roast potatoes not crispy. Another described a first visit where the food was fine but not great, before a second visit that was all lovely. The mixed grill comes close behind, with juicy meat and a steak cooked medium rare, while ribs and garlic mushrooms also get mentions. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and helpful, and a large bank holiday booking was served in good time and piping hot. One reviewer, however, found the welcome at the door and the bar rushed and cold. Another found a chicken burger a little dry and the coleslaw gone warm, as if it had sat on the pass. Reviewers also mention a dog-friendly area, indoor and outdoor seating, a play area outside and reasonable prices, and one family's kids finished their meal with ice cream.

“Popped in after a day out in Llandudno for a quick dinner. Thought I get something easy and saw this Chicken flatbread with fries, salad and a Harissa sauce with pomegranate, I thought that sounded nice, different and interesting 🤔. It came out and it covered the plate tonnes of everything and the Harissa sauce was tasty 😋 had a spicy tingle to it but it was delicious. Staff were pleasant as well for a busy evening.”

“Lovely little pub the food was so nice and the prices are very reasonable and the staff are really friendly. We had the mixed grill, the meat was lovely and juicy, it dose come with peas and black pudding but I left them out but you can order onion rings for on extra £2. Will deffo be going back. Next time I wanna try the carvery because it looks so nice. If you have young children there is a play area outside too”
