About Bull & Anchor
Bull & Anchor is a pub in Coventry on Wheelwright Lane, where the kitchen cooks over a fire and sends out flame-grilled plates, with burgers and steaks coming off the grill. A Sunday roast is also on the menu, and Abbot is served on draught. Pool and darts are set up for playing, and the large screens carry TNT Sports and Sky Sports, so football and other big matches can be watched over a meal or a pint. The pub restaurant format means food and drinks are served in the same place as the games. Orders and offers run through the Greene King app.

Customer Review Summary
The main complaint comes from a vegetarian who found little on the menu and described the macaroni cheese as insipid, with no colour and little cheese taste. One reviewer wished the brewery would invest in the garden, and another felt the car park could use more spaces. One reviewer advises reserving a table, though they walked in without one. On a day when the kitchen had a limited menu after the extraction system broke down, a manager apologised and later offered the Sunday roast, which one family found lovely.

“Food was hot and tasty. Good value for money. Had a fantastic warm welcome from the bartender Ethan who is a testament to the company. He was polite and very knowledgeable about the food and drink menu which helped me narrow down my order as I was spoilt for choice. I’ll definitely come again . Thanks again Ethan”

“Couldn't recommend this place any more. Superb staff, landlady is top top. Foods lovely & well priced. Great location for The CBS Area/Ricoh. Wish the brewery would invest in the garden. Either way, highly recommended.”

“Came here on a quiet sunday afternoon for a family meal, we all ate different meals from the menu. Every one of us enjoyed our food so much we all said for seven different meals they certainly had their work cut out but they managed to provide great food and great service. We'll be back for sure.”

“Visited on fathers day for lunch with my family, unfortunately only a limited menu was available due to the ventilation/extraction breaking down.Manager was very apologetic, and these things do happen. Myself and my family decided to stay for drinks and make the best of the situation. The manager later advised us that sunday roast was available, and would we like to order. Food was lovely, well presented and the staff were pleasant especially in light,of what must have been a stressful day. Will visit again without hesitation..Thank you!”
