About The Coventry Cross
The Coventry Cross is a pub on The Burges in Coventry, running pub quizzes and live music alongside a pool table and a jukebox. Sky Sports is on the TV, and football is shown for the Coventry City FC fans who follow the club here, so match days sit naturally beside the quiz and music nights. Behind the bar, Worthington's draught and Guinness are served. The pub has also held a disco.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often describe a friendly welcome from the staff, with one saying the bar team know their drinks as soon as regulars walk in, and another singling out a barmaid with green hair as very good at her job. Football is the main draw, with Coventry City fans calling it their home and one reviewer describing a great afternoon of banter while watching a match. The outdoor seating area at the back gets repeated praise, described as a great spot on a sunny day. Others mention the pool table, jukebox, Sky Sports, a disco, and horse racing. A draught Worthington's is called well served and affordable, and a pint of Guinness also gets a mention, though one reviewer finds the drinks a little expensive. A recent refurbishment is said to have left the pub looking refreshed, with clean toilets. One long-time regular says it has been their favorite place for over 35 years.

“April 2026. Bank Holiday Monday. Not too busy. Friendly staff. Had a pint of Guinness and a glass of Merlot for my better half. We sat in the outside area at the back of the pub which was a great spot on a sunny day.”
