  “A busy pub that serves very good food. Price is reasonable and the atmosphere is good. Large beer garden at the rear for summertime dining and drinking. The staff are wonderful, polite, knowledgeable and friendly. Worth a visit if you're in the area.”

  “Just got home now after our second visit here and once again it was absolutely spot on. Food was just as tasty as last time and the girls who were looking after us were all perfect going about their business. 4 pints of Pepsi, 3 appetisers and 2 mains for £67 with a £7 tip which is fine by me considering how nice the place is inside and out with lots of outdoor seating and somewhere for children to have a play at the bottom of the garden... Thanks again 💯”

  “I had the pea and mint ravioli and was not disappointed. It was perfectly balanced with an added lemony crunch on top. Inside had a good selection of tables in various areas. Making finding a cosy and quieter spot really easy. Service was handled attentively.”

  “A lovely experience from start to finish! A very warm welcome from the staff and a great ambience. Both the outside and inside of the pub were very well maintained and the decor inside was great. Our main server, Anna, was absolutely lovely and extremely professional and well presented. And all the staff were fantastic - warm, friendly and professional. I had the vegan pasta main dish, which was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. My friends also enjoyed their food. All in all, a very nice evening with great food and service. I'll definitely be coming again and have already recommended it to a friend!”

  “Back after a long time great portions and very tasty, had the classic fish and chips, chicken burger were really good. Also tried the tapas part nice sized portions good choices, hot chilly sauce is quite hot! Profiteroles are big but lovely as was the salted caramel ice-cream. Recommend.”

From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The warm, inviting ambiance and tasteful decor created the perfect setting for a celebratory evening. The inn’s charming blend of rustic elegance and cozy comfort made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely exceptional—delicious, beautifully presented, and made with high-quality ingredients. We enjoyed a variety of dishes that showcased the chef’s talent, and every plate was a delight. The menu offered great value for money, with generous portions and a wide selection that catered to all tastes. One of the highlights was the attentive service provided by the Ukrainian waitress, who was genuinely helpful, friendly, and courteous throughout our visit. Her warm attitude added a special touch to our celebration, making us feel truly cared for. The inn is also very family-friendly, making it an ideal spot for those dining with children. Our kids felt comfortable and well looked after, and thoroughly enjoyed playing in the fantastic garden, which made the evening all the more enjoyable for our entire party.   “Lovely pub, really lively friendly and helpful staff. Engaging with conversations and able to make recommendations. Nicely spaced out tables and not too noisy an environment. Food was lovely, and reasonably priced. There appeared to be a good outside space too. Ample parking.”

  “I stopped here for dinner with a friend on our way to Winsford from Wrexham on 23rd June 2025. My friend had the Rump Steak and I had Sea Bass for the main course. I also had a Mini Brownie for my pudding. The food presentation was very good and the taste was excellent. My compliments to the Chef and the kitchen staff. The staff were very friendly especially Georgia who looked after us well. The surroundings were clean and pleasant with a rustic appearance. The price was as expected for a top class Inn.”

  “Been for a roast dinner today , had the roast share platter at £42 and I have to say, it was the nicest roast dinner I have ever eaten!! Absolutely worth every penny and plenty left over so could feed 3 possibly. Great service , great wine !”
