“Today I went into the mill lane fish bar and ordered a small fish. I have done this several times and it is normally a fairly decent size. On this occasion, when I opened the box, I honestly thought that they had given me a small battered sausage, I can tell you that this is no exaggeration. The box was way to big for it, and considering this fish bar is one of the most expensive in the area, you would expect a decent portion. To make matters extremely worse, I cut into about a third of the batter and still found no fish. When I finally struck oil it was nothing to write home about. I am sure that if I had bought a fish cake then this would have contained more fish the the so called battered cod did. I will stick to my usual takeaway in future.”
