  “My partner and I visited this weekend and the food was amazing here.The Naughty Badger breakfast (full english option) was fantastic. Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious; all ingredients were of a high quality and the presentation was superb. Staff were very friendly and accommodating; we were offered extra food items to replace any standard breakfast options which weren't to our liking. We were seated by a window overlooking the scenic architecture of Chester town centre only adding to the experience. If you are looking for a quality breakfast at a fair price in the heart of Chester then look no further!”

  “Quirky cafe hidden on the rows, up what felt like many many stairs. Table for two, full english breakfast, lovely food but the toast was inedible, fear it may break my teeth. Sausages were excellent, bacon was a touch overdone (see pic). Waitress asked if all ok on the way out, I mentioned neither of us could manage thhe toast..only reply was 'oh' Loads of much better breakfast spots in town (try tinderbox, they are excellent)”

  “What a lovely hidden gem! We came across The Naughty Badger whilst wandering around trying to find breakfast and I’m so glad we did. The atmosphere was lovely, the decor is quirky but cute, the view is stunning and the food was incredible. The best breakfast we have had in a long time! Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Chester.”

  “Visited this place today and it was a nice spot on Bridge St, where you climb some steep steps, not recommend for people with mobility issues. Once in, you are ushered to a table. It's a small place with a small menu. We just ordered bloomer toast with jam, flat white and tea. We felt as we didn't order more we were a nuisance, the young lady slammed the drinks on the table,initially we weren't concerned until they asked everyone if they were ok but us. The bloomer toast was hard,no amountofbutter could rectify this, it was like it was made in an airfryer! The flat white was nice. As an independent eatery they need to up their game, being polite doesn't cost anything. I felt so disgruntled that I went to Harrods instead.”

  “Had a lovely brunch here with my partner last weekend. We went a little later than most so it was quiet but what a gorgeous place! We felt really well looked after and the food was amazing. Such a hidden little gem in the heart of Chester overlooking the streets from above. Would 100% recommend a visit!”

  “I popped into this bistro for brunch on a day trip to Chester. It's located on the upper level of one of the historic Rows. You follow the paw prints up a steep and narrow staircase (rather a challenge for anyone with mobility issues, but there are outside tables downstairs). The interior is small, just a few tables, but it's cosy and nicely decorated, lots of green plants and a few quirky badgers dotted about! I arrived early and managed to get a small window table with a lovely view of Bridge Street's black and white buildings. The breakfast menu offered some tempting choices, with vegan and gluten-free options. I opted for the Naughty Badger Breakfast, with a crispy slice of warm toasted bread as an extra. The meal was attractively presented and piping hot, with ample portions. Good quality sausage and bacon, homemade potato croquettes, and the grilled tomato and fried egg were deliciously spiced. Generous portion of butter too. My pot of tea was strong and hot. The girl who served me was hospitable and friendly, and came back to check that everything was fine. Empty when I arrived, the bistro soon filled up and the atmosphere was laid-back and friendly. The dog on the next table was made very welcome! My meal was a bit on the pricey side, but it was well worth it for the quality of the food and the ambience. Would come here again.”

  “Wow what a lovely little charming bistro 😍 food and drink was amazing. Went here for my birthday breakfast after seeing a video on tiktok whilst visiting Chester. It is very small and hidden up steps. Felt like a secret spot and it was very worth finding! Waitress on duty was very friendly and helpful, cracking jokes with us. Everything was perfect so just HAD to leave a review so others could know this place is here and is worth searching out. Beautifully decorated with lovely view, with such well presented and delicious food”

  “A cute little brunch spot with a cosy vibe and tasty food. The vegan sausages were absolutely delicious and the banana pancakes were weirdly nice in the best way!Though I was a bit disappointed that the marshmallows weren’t suitable for vegetarians. There are steep steps to get in and limited seating inside, but overall it’s a lovely place for a relaxed brunch.”

  “Great little find, it’s a tiny spot upstairs - you could miss it if you aren’t looking. Food was great, the protein pancakes were homemade and delicious. The service was great and welcoming, it gets a little cramped but it’s worth it. We would definitely recommend and visit again”
