It's a fantastic family-friendly restaurant in Chester. We tried a range of items from the menu, my husband and son opted for the highly recommended Birria tacos. These slow-cooked, tender beef tacos are a true revelation. The depth of flavour and the succulence of the meat was incredible. I decided to try the Mexican chorizo tacos, each bite was a burst of perfectly seasoned ground pork mince and chorizo, complemented by fresh toppings that cut through the richness beautifully. Our youngest son tried out the cheese quesadilla from the brand new children's menu, it came with fries and a drink. No Mexican feast is complete without some incredible sides, and Death by Tacos did not disappoint. We shared two absolute showstoppers, the Valentina Honey Butter Chicken Wings and the loaded Birria Fries these were both absolutely incredible. Every single dish we tried at Death by Tacos Chester was nothing short of amazing. Everything was cooked fresh to order, ensuring each bite was bursting with authentic Mexican flavour. Our only regret was that we didn't order more to sample even more of their tempting menu.”

“Holy Guacamole, what a place. We had a short wait for a table, (walk in only, no bookings) popular spot for a reason. Nu metal vibe decor and awesome tacos/street food I was in town for one day and this was the spot my friend highly recomended. All the classics you'd expect plus some specials. We had the tequila and lime chicken, a blooming onion, prawn ceviche and habenaro wings. All of it was excellent, washed down with some first class margaritas. If I ever get back to Chester i'll be back.”

“Amazing, authentic tacos! We arrived at 12:15 and managed to grab the last free table — it’s so popular that people were already queuing down the street. The food was brilliant, and the service was just as good. There was a great selection of beers, and the kids loved playing on the old Mortal Kombat arcade machine while they waited for the food. Add in a rock/metal soundtrack and it creates a fantastic alternative vibe that really sets the place apart. Highly recommended!”
