Customer Review Summary
Adana kebab is the dish diners praise most, with one Turkish diner calling it flawless and comparing it to kebab in Adana itself, and another pairing it with Ali Nazik and a mixed meze plate. Close behind is the four-course set menu, where reviewers single out cold meze with freshly baked bread, a tender, juicy mixed grill, and baklava with ice cream, and describe it as reasonable value and unrushed. Others mention chicken sizi, calamari, and a Turkish red wine or raki. Service draws mostly warm comments, including a complimentary shot after the lamb dish ran out and a tea waived at the till. The main criticism comes from one family who ordered lahmacun and lamb ribs. They found the ribs unmarinated and the portions smaller than at comparable restaurants. No staff checked on them, and the after-meal Turkish tea served to other tables never arrived. One diner found the room a bit loud, and another noted service slowed on a packed holiday visit.

“I had a very touching experience at Lezzet Turkish Kitchen. I had travelled from London to meet some guests who unfortunately couldn'tmake it. While waiting, I ordered a tea and sat there for a while. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and when I went to pay, they told me not to worry about the tea. It may seem like a small gesture, but it meant a lot in that moment. Their warmth and hospitality made me feel at home despite being far from it. Thank you for your kindness it truly didn’t go unnoticed.”

“Food was amazing, chicken was delicious (chicken sizi). Falafel with hummus was OK, not my favourite. Ordered the calamari as starters was absolutely delicious (highly recommend). Table service was good, atmosphere was a nice vibe. Bit loud for my preference. The only downside of it was when we were having our coffee at the end, I was hearing a manager yell and scream at a staff member next to us which wasn't professional at all. And one waiter inappropriately touched my partner which was highly and completely inappropriate!!! So I would watch out for that and get that assessed. For the price it was a decent-ish price for what we ordered.”

“As a Turkish citizen, i can say that their Adana Kebab is flawless, i ate such tasty Adana Kebab in Adana city, city of kebabs origin. Highly recommended”

“We just had the best dinner at this restaurant, the food was exceptional. We are visiting from Australia and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the great service. The waiter recommended a Turkish red wine which was fantastic.”

“The restaurant had a lovely and relaxed atmosphere with a good selection of Turkish dishes on the menu. We ordered the Adana kebab, Ali Nazik, and a mixed meze plate. Everything was tasty and nicely prepared, with decent portion sizes as well. They also serve raki, which made the experience feel even more authentic. Overall, it’s a nice spot for anyone wanting to try Turkish food in a calm and comfortable setting”
