“We visited last week for an evening meal. The place looks small from the outside but is surprisingly huge inside, with plenty of tables. The staff were very attentive and the service was excellent throughout, and the old stone walls give it a lovely, cosy atmosphere. We had the seafood cataplana, served steaming in its traditional copper pot — great presentation and a generous portion, though we found the flavours a bit bland for our taste. “Recommended to come here by a friend. The service was friendly, fast and welcoming. The wine options were superb and our waiter provided recommendations based on dishes ordered. The food was fresh and full of flavour, with great portion sizes. The sides are not pictured but all dishes included either potatoes or fried cauliflower.”
