“Another Wetherspoon, another unique carpet... this one being a floral number. We stopped here for a drink while in Buxton for the weekend so can't comment on the food, but drinks were sound. What I can say though is that the toilets are on the ground floor... pretty unusual for a 'spoons.”

“A great pub! Everything you’d expect from a Wetherspoons but it’s certainly one of the better ones. Friendly staff, food was good, service was quick. I should point out that it was well kept; tables were cleared and cleaned. The Toilets were very clean and in good working order too. Would be even better in the summer.”

“Even though it was busy the food was good quality and arrived quickly, the staff were very friendly and clean toilets on the same level as the bar (a lot of spoons loos are upstairs) having one of our party disabled this made things much more accessible. Lovely surroundings as well.”

“What a lovely pub, it's not too noisy and a nice place for lunch. There's the normal great Wetherspoons menu with something for everyone. Lot's of seating and the staff were really friendly. It's quick and easy to order on the app and the food was hot amd fresh.”
