  “We have had Sunday Roast at The Old Rock Inn several times, and have never been disappointed with our meal, it’s well cooked and hot.   “We called in after going for a walk with the dog that we drove out for. We ain’t heard of the pub before so decided to give it ago. Both me and the wife were very happy with meal drink and service and would highly recommend and booked another visit before leaving. Thanks again The Smiths”

  “First visit at lunchtime on a Saturday with my hubby. Managed to fit us in, in the extension area - beautiful room on the back of the pub. Exceptionally clean. Beautifully decorated, in keeping with the cottage style of yhe old pub. Staff were spot on - not harassing us at all, they seemed to sweep in and out with our drinks and food, with no mither at all. Staff are a real credit to the place 👏. Delicious, hot, fresh food. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend 👌”

  “We booked a stay near by and had a look to see where we could eat and found this place. We looked at the menu and saw the steak on the volcanic rock and booked a table straightaway. We been looking forward to coming for 5 weeks and we were not disappointed one little bit. All the staff were polite and pleasant and the food was fantastic. We have already looked at dates we can get back, just wish we lived closer. Great pub great stuff awesome food.”

  “Had the pleasure of enjoying a lovely meal here on a trip away with my wife. Food was lovely and a beautiful place, staff were super polite and happy to assist with anything we needed. (Beef and Stilton pie is very tasty 😋). Well worth a visit if you're in the area.”

  “Great little find this after a 15KM hike, pint off a aspall went down a treet and 2 mins from.where we parked. Plenty of parking good atmosphere and decent food cant ask for much more. Had the sausage sandwich would recommend.”

  “After a walk up over The Roaches, the four of us (plus our dog) stopped at Ye Olde Rock Inn and had a great experience. We managed to get one of the tables out front, which was a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The service was excellent from start to finish. We didn’t have to wait long for our food, and the staff regularly popped outside to check that everything was okay. They were very accommodating, bringing a bowl of water for the dog and even refilling our water bottles before we continued our walk. The food was excellent and exactly what we needed after a hike. Friendly staff, great food, and a fantastic location – we’d definitely visit again and highly recommend it to anyone exploring the area.”

  “Lovely pub to walk into on a Sunday after a hike. Great atmosphere and chose of draft lagers, including Hawkstone. Sunday road and dessert was excellent.”

  “The best Sunday dinner I've ever had out, simple as that. The beef was perfectly cooked and I mean perfect, very very tasty and melted like butter in the mouth. And I will always love a place where the desserts are made in house, it really makes a difference. I will definitely be returning and if you're reading this, stop and just book yourself in, you won't be disappointed.”
