About The Flowerpot
The Flowerpot is a pub on Hurdsfield Road in Macclesfield, with a shop area inside that sells children's clothes and toys. The building has two bars. The second, in a back room, holds a pool table with space around it to play, and the other bar has a jukebox. Karaoke is part of the entertainment on offer. A restaurant side serves meals, and bar snacks are available for those who only want something small. Dogs are welcome in the bar.

Customer Review Summary
Meals draw the most praise, with reviewers describing good-sized, great-tasting dishes at a reasonable price, from a late lunch to a family dinner, though one found the portion quite small. Well kept beer comes close behind, along with an alcohol-free beer on draught. Reviewers also mention a really nice beer garden, a dog-friendly welcome, two bars, a pool table with room to play, a jukebox and karaoke on a Friday night. Service splits the reviews. Several call the staff friendly, efficient and great, while others describe a bar worker who had to be told an order three times and greeted a regular straight away. One reviewer says they were sent out at half ten for not being a regular, with a half drink left unfinished, and found prices higher than closer to town. Another found the pub had no coffee and was missing the drinks they wanted. One reviewer singles out the pub's corner selling children's clothes and toys as a nice community touch.

“Cool place, lovely outside area, and there seems to be a great community vibe going on (only pub I've ever been in with a shop/charity type thing with children's clothes and toys etc....i don't have or like children but still, what a nice idea). Nice beer, didn't try any food, typical English customer service I.E. rude and non existent but no worse than anywhere in the UK. Pool table, with space around it to be able to play pool. Keep up the good work, and maybe have lessons in service or go work in for example any bar/restaurant anywhere else in the world for a couple of days and you will get it.”

“Didn't have the drinks we required and no coffee the requests were not out of the ordinary, otherwise it looked ok and service was ok, not been in enough to advise on ambiance etc but would not necessarily use again”

“This is a very nice pub/Restaurant to have a meal or just a drink, The staff are very friendly and efficient,Dogs are allowed in the bar, which is nice, parking spaces were ample, but I visited at midday, the only thing for me was the food portion was quite small, but then, I'm a big eater.”
