  “The lady who collected our plates was doing a very efficient job. She was friendly and asked if we had enjoyed our meal. The young man behind the bar was friendly and offered ice and lemon in my water which was nice. The carvery guy also pleasant and friendly. It's a great place to eat and I've always enjoyed having a meal here.”

  “Works close by, after shift on a Friday meet up with collegues for a drink and some food. Staff are always welcoming and friendly especially Julia who serves the food with a bit of light banter, she is always smiling which makes my experience at waterfold a good place to visit, that's why I keep coming back. Food is yummy especially the Marz attack Cake, but I am always at a defeat at the end you get alot more for what you pay for. Fab place 10/10😊😊😊”

  “Wonderful carvery the last 2 nights, served by Tyler tonight with a smile.. what ha happy chappy he is... service with a smile and so polite... table service also fabulous by pam.. all the staff are really nice and welcoming... we are working away from home and staying in the village hotel next-door... its definitely worth a 2 minute walk... thanks guys..   “Took my granddaughter out for our favourite carvery we love it in here foods always good and fresh. We had a lovely lady called Julia came to clear our plates, she was so friendly my granddaughter really took to her. She talked about her on the way home and asked when we could go back again.”

  “I came in with my grandma and she loved it in there. The carvery was lovely and the staff were really nice. I had a server called Jess come over and recommend the mystery drink, which I tried and loved! Would 100% come again.”

  “Ashley greeted me with a lovely smile and was very helpful. He was very attentive, and was up and down helping every person he could. A brilliant maitre de, in my eyes. My carvery was very nice. Though some of the veg was a little cooler, but I did leave some, my eyes bigger than my belly syndrome. Would recommend, it was a very busy time Sunday after 5pm. I enjoyed the hour I was there, just a tad noisy for me, but people have lots ti talk and laugh about, I guess. Anita Radcliffe”

  “Poor choice of ale or beer, loads of lager & cider but only one beer option, so I declined & had a Guinness instead, all in all the experience was good, service & food were good to very good, just the choice of beer/ale let it down.”

  “Food was great the main thing that stood out was the service from a particular person called Julia. First of all I asked for a high chair and she was so polite and one was brought over straight away. She was perfect with our son and he loved her. She was attentive and nothing was too much trouble to ask. Great member of staff, Thank you”

  “The score would have been much lower had it not been for Kaiya. Kaiya came over from the carvery station and welcomed us at the door after she saw we'd been waiting for a long time. She then showed us ro our table, cleared and the cleaned the table because it wasn't ready and then served us later on the carvery too. Despite clearly doing more than her fair share, she had a smile on her face the whole time and nothing was too much. Our experience was turned around because of Kaiya.”
