“Hired the function room for a family members Wake, Mike & Kerry could not have been anymore kind, accommodating & professional. The attention to detail in the preparation of the room was outstanding, chair covers with colours of our choice, a memorial table with flowers & candle, all little extras (FREE) that stood them out from any other facility we viewed. It was all perfect! Buffet was delicious, plenty of food to go round, accommodating Veggie & Gluten free options & even provided special deserts we requested! Barman was great, on a stupidly warm day we kept him busy & nothing was too much trouble. Perfect location & very easy to find for all guests with car park on site although not owned by the pub you get 3 hrs free parking! During this difficult time they were an absolute pleasure to deal with, I would highly recommend the Middleton Archer function room for any event! 10/10!!”

“Had my baby shower at the archer in their function room in March 2026. 10/10 would recommend. Reasonable price to rent the room (£100 at the time) £100 deposit required which was paid back at the end of the event Food packages were a good range. Had the choice of 3 different packages to choose from, the lowest package started at £6.95pp (at the time) Food was good - everyone enjoyed the variety Venue was a decent size for what we wanted. Room was set up with tables and chairs which were dressed with white cloth and bows that you got to choose the colour for. If you are planning a party there, account for the set up time. We told our guests it was a 12pm start but we could only get into the venue at 11am as the opening time was 12 on the Sunday (my own fault, I should have checked) Venue hire came with a private bar also Dog friendly to also add!”

“We held my D.I.L's baby shower here in the function room. We had our own catering but the staff were very accommodating. I'm disabled and was able to enter there building in my mobility scooter. Toilet access was impossible on the scooter but they did their best to make it easier for me to get there.”
