Customer Review Summary

Diners most often single out the Greek-style featherblade steak with lemon and garlic potatoes, calling it hot, delicious, and generously portioned, while the buttermilk chicken burger and hanging kebabs also earn praise for value and taste. Several note the wide, well-priced drink selection, with Joseph Holt bitter frequently named. The refurbished interior, cosy gas fire, and clean, modern toilets draw repeated approval, and many highlight the friendly, efficient service. A recurring caveat is temperature inconsistency with the cheese and onion pie, sent back cold once and returned extremely hot, with one reviewer describing it as 80% pastry. The steak baguette is cited as needing more cheese and finer pepper prep. Several suggest registering vehicle details on the bar tablet to avoid parking fines.

Love the refurbishment of the Bluebell, becoming one of our favourite places. There were lots of staff on who were all friendly and efficient and looked like they want to be there. The lady who I believe to be a supervisor was doing a great job running things and when the staff were unsure on how to process my voucher she was on hand promptly to sort it out. We had 2 courses which came out very quickly and all were delicious and hot. There was a great selection of drinks and we had a very enjoyable evening and look forward to returning soon.

How this listing is sourced

Where the data comes from
Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
How it stays current
Every listing is re-checked on a recurring crawl, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
How it is ranked
Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
