  “Family Vybz saved us from a disaster! The caterer for our grandad's funeral let us down last minute (I'm talking an hour before!) and we needed food to feed 80 people, and fast! The food was great quality and so tasty. Lots of people commented on how good it was (we had curry mutton and rice and peas). Not only were they able to help us at the drop of a hat, they were the nicest people. On such a challenging day, everyone showed my sister and I such genuine kindness, thank you to all at Family Vybz, we won't hesitate to order from you again.”

  “This place used to be the only place I could get good vegan/vegetarian Carribbean food delivered in Birmingham. Last time I ordered, the dumplings were rock hard and inedible but I let slide since the rest of the meal is always good. But since almost all the vegan/vegetarian food has been taken off the menu. I really loved their ackee especially so I'm super disappointed.”

  “I've been un decided about writing this review. Family vibe is a great takeaway. I've really bigup this place since it's been opened. Of late something has changed with the food, I invited my friend over for a family Vibe take out. Upon arrival at home. The first thing my friend said was this fish was cooked yesterday. And hard food should have two green banana's. I tasted his fish and it was not the just cooked taste you got . And my stew chicken were dry with little or next to no gravy. In truth the food were mostly salt than flavor. Come on family Vibes what's gone wrong?”

  “I had planned on heading the few miles into the City on a sunny Saturday leaving the house two police on horse back passed heading that direction informed me there was a massive protest going on! that was my first Saving Grace as I casually scrolled to the other end of Stirchley High Street (partaking in smoking a Jamaicanes.of joy happiness Green Cigar) I decided to finally pick Family Vibes for a Food review instantly regretting taking four years to do so..when you're food turnls into instant smiles of happiness and joy comforting with satisfying your inner Soul every ounce of that passion, love and respect to keep. Great, Great Great GREAT MEEMAWS secret family recipe as good and as full of SOUL as her honour and reputation and family members before you ..all I can say is I finally know my death bed last meal so full of SOUL. . AMEN”

  “This place does lovely food and delivery is fast. My only criticism is recently paying extra money for a large portion of mutton, rice and peas then realising it could have fit into a small container!”

  “I’ve given this place multiple chances, but enough is enough. On several recent orders, they’ve consistently failed to get even the basics right. I specifically pay extra for boneless chicken due to health reasons, yet they keep ignoring this request. On top of that, I’ve repeatedly asked for sauce over my meal and once again, it’s missing. It’s beyond frustrating to pay more for simple modifications that are blatantly disregarded. This latest order was the final straw. The chicken was undercooked, which is completely unacceptable and a serious food safety issue. There’s no excuse for serving raw chicken. It’s incredibly disappointing because this used to be my regular spot, but the quality and attention to detail have clearly gone downhill. At this point, it feels like they simply don’t care about their customers or the orders they’re sending out. I won’t be ordering from here again. There are plenty of other places that actually respect their customers, get orders right, and serve food that’s safe to eat.”

  “Don't normally do reviews but I can't lie. This place is amazing. Never had a bad meal. Have tried everything on the menu partly because I'm craven but mainly because the food looks and smells good. They never fail to deliver on taste so much so my son only wants food from here even though we make Jamaican food at home 😊”

  “No fancy photos here (or needed) as I’m on my work lunch break, just good grub!!…..ordered a large Mutton what can I say flavour is great portion is a dam good size and slightly cheaper than some of the others operating in the area, mutton just melts in your mouth Perfect guys thanks”

  “Feeling hungry but not knowing what I wanted I was headed for a burger spot or something but driving down pershore Road I noticed family vibez. Instantly I knew what I wanted to eat. Upon entering, I was greeted with a smile and I was asked how I was today. Great service but it wasn’t until the food arrived I realised the real magic happens in the kitchen. I didn’t need to scan the menu I knew I needed jerk chicken and it did not dissapoint. A lip smacking slightly spicy bbq jerk sauce covered barrel grilled chicken with perfect char and tenderness, on a bed on rice and pea with steamed veg that itself was seasoned nicely . I had started with a fork but it honestly had me licking my fingers by the end. I also ordered a festival dumpling and using it to mop up the sauce, with its sweetness the dumpling added another dimension to the dish. To drink I ordered the sexy juice. A tropical concoction with rum, coconut shavings and what tasted like a creamy liquor. The portion sizes were as expected. Full hearty meals that warm the soul. A good selection of patties available aswel The pricing was fair. I highly recommend if in the area 7.7/10”

  “Fantastic Jamaican food! Ordered on deliveroo and had super quick service, generous portion sizes and very tasty food, one of the best we have had. We had curry mutton, jerk chicken and fried plantains with rice and peas. Will definitely order again!”
