Customer Review Summary
The Lounge burger is the clear favourite, with one longtime regular returning for it repeatedly over the years, served with chips or sweet potato chips, a side salad, and a gluten free seeded roll. Close behind, others praise the pork belly bao buns, chicken shawarma skewers, a sweetcorn and black bean burrito, and a green smoothie that came with a second one on the house. Breakfast and brunch draw warm remarks, including an avocado smash, a spinach side the chef cooked on request, and the coffee. Reviewers describe the atmosphere as cosy, quirky, and eclectic, and the staff as lovely, helpful, and accommodating. One wheelchair user mentions staff opening doors and finding a suitable table. The one critical review, from a lunch visit, found the tapas cold, the cauliflower wings not crispy, the sweet potato fries small, and the Nasi Goreng rice greasy with oil pooled in the bowl. A birthday brunch diner received a free mocktail, and a quiz night group booked the next one despite finishing last.

“We started here with a 'green' smoothie, a blend of mint, cucumbers, banana, and pineapple juice, which was very good. When it arrived it came with a second one on the house as they had extra. My sister ordered the avocado smash breakfast, and while I personally don't like avocado, it looked amazing. I had the pork belly bao buns and the chicken shawarma skewers. Both were brilliant and went way above what I was expecting. Overall, a brilliant experience, with a lovely atmosphere and staff.”

“It's May 2026 and I had my favourite: Lounge burger, this time with sweet potato chips plus a lovely side salad of lettuce, rocket, tomatoes and finely sliced red onion. Delicious.😋Been going here since COVID lockdown days! 😃 To have my favourite, Lounge burger and chips plus a side salad. Delicious. Excellent service. Had the lounge burger again on visit on 31 August 2022. I don't how they do it but it was absolutely delicious!!! With chips and salad and Italian lager, followed by a double expresso. Yummy. Compliments to the chef... And to the servers who are excellent. Thank you. Here we are in April 2023... Had the lounge burger with gluten free roll(it's seeded), with chips and salad. My favourite! Was, as ever, delicious! September 2023. Lounge Burger was, as ever, delicious as were the fries plus the well dressed fresh mixed salad. Coupled with the attentive service by two jolly staff. What more could you want. New decor... Loud wallpaper, different on opposite walls, with lots of pictures and mirrors and new ceiling lights and background music, all create a congenial atmosphere in the restaurant. I'm here in February 2025. It's just as good. Here we are in June 2025. My lounge burger was delicious 😋 As ever. Visited on 8 September 2025, to have... The lounge burger but this time on half a ciabbata, with sweet potato chips and a green salad 😋Served by lovely servers. I'm here on 24 November 2025... It's still as good as ever. It's March 2026, and had a breakfast brunch. It was delicious. Chef cooked me a side of spinach to go with it. So great as ever.”
