  “Bought a Dream Cake (Original) today and got home to find it was covered in mould and smelled absolutely disgusting. Completely inedible. Really disappointed — this is a serious food safety issue and not something any customer should experience. I’ll be reporting this to the Food Standards Agency. Avoid.”

  “Absolutely amazing experience at Shake House Selly Oak! The shakes were incredible, but what really made the visit stand out was the Assistant Store Manager, Daniela. She was exceptional from start to finish — friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive even though the store was extremely busy. She went over and beyond to make sure everyone was looked after and still managed to keep such a positive attitude throughout. It’s rare to see customer service that genuine under pressure.   “As a regular customer that consumes the dessert goods at Shakehouse, I find myself taken aback by the fantastic service placed on offer by staff. In all my experience of eating at local dessert spot, this by a country mile offers the most comprehensive and complete dining experience. From a wide array of options on offer such as the wonderful waffles, comforting cookie doughs and marvellous milkshakes, Shakehouse in Selly Oak is exemplary in every facet imaginable. This includes the composed customer service, the stupendous speed at which the food is prepared and the tantalising taste of the desserts. Fantastic Shakehouse !!”

  “The shake was fantastic and we got a free yazoo milkshake with it as well. There was only one worker in the shop and he was polite and friendly and served us in a timely manner even though there was quite a queue. Will definitely be returning again!”

  “DON'T ORDER ON THIS STORE'S WEBSITE!! THEY'LL SCAM YOU. They accept the order knowing they have no delivery drivers (whether this is true or not we'll never know) and then somehow have no way to refund you. The process for a refund it whatsapping their useless service (they say it'll take 5 days for a refund) which makes it impossible to actually get the refund, as they say the store is closed all day, so they can't contact them. They take the money happily but make it so difficult to get it back you just give up -> that's truly the definition of trying to scam you. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.”

  “I have recently had the store ring up after ordering online, saying they had no delivery drivers so wouldn’t be able to deliver my order, they said they would process a refund that would arrive in 3-5 working days. I have not received a refund and when I ring the store there is no answer. Incredibly disappointed by the awful customer service.”

  “Great place if you like food poisoning. Tell me how I ordered a red velvet cake and I bit into it and I have never threw up so quick in my life! The cake was covered in mould inside and out. Fucking disgusting. Have reported to health and safety officials! Even my milkshake at the bottom was disturbing, best believe everything I ordered was threw in the bin didn’t even attempt to finish it after the whole cake thing.(This was yesterday and I honestly still ain’t feeling the best!!)Place needs closing.”
