Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often return for the Persian grilled food, with kababs singled out as really good and the jerk chicken recommended by one diner for tender, tasty meat. Several describe friendly, welcoming staff, plentiful sides, and good portions, while the cosy, intimate room and wall-mounted plates get praise too. One notes most dishes are non spicy. A few raise trade-offs: the restaurant is tight, and one suggests booking tables beforehand for a big group. Another finds prices a bit higher than comparable places and says the menus look overdue for a fresh design. Two one-star reviews paint a sharply different picture. One reviewer describes two staff members ignoring them for ten minutes while orders were taken from later arrivals, and they left for another restaurant. Another reports finding a bug in a delivery meal, says the restaurant dismissed the complaint without an apology or refund, and mentions a 1-star food hygiene rating on the Just Eat page.

“Arrived to find two members of staff and approximately zero interest in our existence. One was perched behind the counter looking bored, nursing a soft drink, occasionally venturing out to take orders — but apparently only for customers who arrived after us. We sat for ten minutes wondering if we'd accidentally become invisible. We genuinely checked whether we smelled. We didn't. The service was so magnificently indifferent it felt like a masterclass in the art form that inspired Fawlty Towers. Manuel would have been an improvement. If you enjoy being treated as an inconvenience in your own dinner plans, this is absolutely the place for you. We found somewhere else, had a lovely time, and would like those ten minutes back.”
