  “Ordered at same time as person I was with in the store at the till. Their food came, mine didn’t. Then went back to the till to find they had put it through as a takeaway and had been sat on the side. Then asked me if I’d done it as a takeaway, how would that even be possible if I ordered at the till. Manager just stared blankly and offered me it as a takeaway to eat cold. Cheers”

  “Very disappointed! This Nando’s doesn’t provide nice free distill water as the other Nando’s do. The waitress provided me glasses to receive the warm tap water for washing hands . And if I want I need to pay for the ice.Disgusting ! They don’t know the tap water is so polluted now in the UK. Won’t come again this one!”

  “The food was tasty, but unfortunately I don’t feel the portion sizes justify the price. I paid £25.70 for this order, and considering the amount of food provided and the overall quality, I found it quite expensive. Nando’s is no longer a cheap option, so I would expect either more generous portions or better value for money. The food itself was fine, but at this price, I was left feeling that I had paid considerably more than what the meal was worth. Overall, 3 stars — decent food, but disappointing value for money.”

  “I had a great visit to Nando's Selly Oak. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavour, with just the right amount of spice. The sides were fresh and tasty, and the portions were generous. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. A great place for a casual meal, and I’ll definitely be coming back!”

  “Had a lovely experience at Nando’s. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and approachable throughout our visit. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and were always happy to help with a smile, especially Jade & Sebb. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and it’s clear the team genuinely care about their customers. A real credit to the restaurant – we’ll definitely be back”

  “Nando's food is always delicious,my favourite is the chicken liver. NHS discount is available as well. Good parking area and it is free. Plenty of shops to visit nearby.”

  “I had a very disappointing experience at Nando’s while collecting a takeaway order. I drove approximately two miles through very busy traffic to pick up the order during a peak time. When I arrived at the restaurant, the manager approached me in an extremely aggressive and unprofessional manner. Without any clear explanation, the manager became very angry and began swearing at me. He then told me to cancel the order and stated that he would not give me the food. I was confused because I had already spent time and fuel driving through heavy traffic to collect the order. What made the situation worse was that another female staff member standing with the manager also behaved rudely and used inappropriate language towards me. The entire interaction felt hostile and completely unprofessional. This was a very unpleasant experience and not the level of service I would expect from a well-known restaurant like Nando’s. Staff should treat customers and delivery drivers with basic respect and communicate issues calmly rather than resorting to anger and swearing. Overall, very poor service and a highly unprofessional attitude from the staff involved.”

  “Ordered recently, and order was incorrect. Received a fino pitta which was basically empty. I didn’t have any special requirements on the initial order. Often I find this particular branch is lazy with orders, especially over the last few months. Ordering in store is okay, but again, often orders are messed up. The plus side is most members (excluding management) of staff are friendly. However, I won’t be going back to this branch.”

  “I love Nando’s but for some reason this franchise is not the best. The staff are really nice and attentive but for some reason, I never get my meal. Table of four every time and I end up not receiving my order or on this occasion, I got it the last one while everyone was finishing up. Don’t know if it’s a curse or something lol but will definitely go back as it’s 5 mins away and I love the food. Bought the frozen yogurt but the machine didn’t work.. I guess McDonald’s jinxed them 🥲😂. Everything else was really nice. Place was clean. Both staff who helped us were very helpful, a brunet and the welcoming staff who was blonde. I wish I was good with names. I was wishing to try the Mac and cheese and the veggie patty but both out of stock 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe next time”

  “We had late lunch here at Nandos Selly Oak today. We came there at around 330pm. They were quite busy as we had to wait awhile for the food. We waited a bit for the starters to come but the intervals between starters and mains is ok as the wait for the mains was not that long. Food is great though and worth the wait. Staff are friendly and helpful. Decors in the restaurant we’re nice. Provided that the restaurant is busy it was still clean and tidy. It took a whole for the ice maker to generate some ice though. I guess as the weather got a bit more warmer in the afternoon everyone wanted ice. Just the soft drink felt a bit flat so this might need looking at. Otherwise we had a good experience and enjoyed the food. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼”
