Customer Review Summary
Karahi, whether chicken or gosht, draws the most consistent praise, described repeatedly as rich, aromatic, and cooked in true desi style. Close behind, the lamb chops and chapli kebab come up again and again as standouts, alongside the Kabuli pulao, which one reviewer rated authentically Peshawari and another called exceptional. The Charsi platter and mixed grill also get singled out, with several noting generous portions and good value, and one reviewer mentions being given a free dessert as a nice touch. Service is mostly described as calm and welcoming, though it is not uniformly smooth: one reviewer waited around an hour for a mixed grill and karahi while a group seated later was served first, was not given spoons for the sauces, and found some plates and glasses with residue on them, plus fatty, gristly lamb chops that night. Another reviewer similarly flagged slow food service and cutlery that was not the cleanest, calling the overall visit decent but unremarkable. Several diners say they plan to return, and one describes it as their go-to for an Eid family outing.

“The service was fairly decent. The seating area is good and can accommodate for a large group if a reservation is made. The service for the food took longer than anticipated. The cutlery was not the cleanest. There is a good selection of food to choose from. Everything was mediocre however the pilau and chapli kebab were exceptional. Overall it is a safe option for food and service that is decent but not exactly special or outstanding.”

“I had a great experience at this restaurant. The **karahi was really delicious**, and the **Kabuli pulao was 10/10 — very authentic Peshawari taste**. The **lamb chops were absolutely outclass**, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The staff were very calm, friendly, and welcoming. The ambience was also really nice, making the whole dining experience enjoyable. They even offered a **free dessert**, which was a lovely touch. Definitely a place I would recommend and visit again.”

“Went here for the first time after seeing a plethora of positive reviews, but the experience was underwelming. We ordered a mixed grill and a karahi and ended up waiting around an hour for our food, despite the restaurant only being about half full. What made it more frustrating was that a group who arrived around 15 minutes after us were served their food before we were. I appreciate that different dishes can take different amounts of time, but it just didn’t seem to add up and left us feeling overlooked. When the food finally arrived, we weren’t even given basic cutlery such as spoons for the mint and chilli sauces, which was a bit disappointing. Some of the plates and glasses didn’t seem to be cleaned properly as they had small bits of residue or food on them. The mixed grill was very mediocre. The lamb chops were very fatty, had a lot of gristle, and there wasn’t much actual meat on them. The seekh kebab also contained large chunks of vegetables which affected the texture, the rest of the mix grill was fine. The karahi was average at best. The staff were polite but appeared to be under pressure. Overall, the combination of the slow service and the mediocre food quality meant the experience didn’t live up to the reviews I had read. Sadly, I wouldn’t return and would look elsewhere next time.”

“Such fresh food with amazing taste. You can tell everything is cooked fresh, and the naan was especially outstanding, hot, fresh, and perfectly made. Great service by the owner as well.”
