Customer Review Summary
The vegan menu draws consistent praise, with the risotto and pear salad singled out for recommendation and diners noting the kitchen's care with allergens and accommodating changes. Close behind, several reviewers highlight standout mains like the catch of the day (hake), chestnut soup, and cinghiale, alongside the wine list and an iced Americano mentioned warmly. Service is repeatedly called friendly and knowledgeable, with staff recommending wine pairings and a mocktail for one anniversary dinner. One detailed negative review stands apart, describing a £140 meal where the pumpkin risotto was bland and overcooked, a crab pasta served as spaghetti instead of linguine with cold crab atop hot pasta, and duck that was overcooked and unevenly seasoned. Despite that account, most describe being welcomed without reservations, accommodated for dietary needs, and treated to small touches like tailored wine advice on special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries.

“It was really an experience! The service was quick and very friendly, and it is one of the places that make you feel cozy without being overwhelmed with noise or food or staff. It was really an amazing exceptional restaurant with a discreet but great location! The food is unique but also simple which is a great combination! ‘The waitresses serving us described it as “The chefs really do care about the food” which I found was quite true! Some things/ingredients I didn’t think you go together, really did! And very nicely too! I highly recommend this place! And will definitely come again, My father and I, and hopefully with the rest of my brothers!”

“Perfect. The best lunch i'v had for a while! they war so kind to accept us without a reservation, And the waitress was charming and kind. They have a varied and rich vegan menu. I went for a mix of starters and sides, instead of a main course, and it was a great decision. The asparagus was excellent and original and the mushrooms were the best I've ever eaten. highly recommend”

“Such a perfect choice for my birthday lunch. So many delicious sounding dishes on the menu it was so difficult to choose, we will have to return soon. We also really appreciated the advice on our choice of wines to accompany our courses. Thank for the outstanding service and food.”

“Amazing vegan menu, food was really tasty, they were very helpful and professional with allergens - really knew what was in each dish and were accommodating with changes, which was much appreciated! Definitely recommend for any vegans visiting bath. We particularly recommend the risotto and the pear salad. Thank you!”
