Customer Review Summary
Brunch is the main draw, with reviewers singling out the shakshuka, the full English with crispy bacon, and the avocado on toast and berry pancake stack. Close behind are the gluten-free menu, which several diners say covered a gluten-free friend well, and the vegetarian choices. Cocktails and speciality coffee also earn praise, along with the cinnamon doughnuts and a pistachio pot for dessert. Families describe children who did not feel like an inconvenience, a high chair provided, and kids eating free at the time they visited. Service comes up repeatedly as friendly and welcoming, including a manager who reissued a receipt with an anniversary discount applied after first saying the set menu did not qualify, and a server who made a birthday brunch feel special. The recurring caveat is noise and crowds: one reviewer found the atmosphere quite loud, and another says it gets busy, so they suggest reserving, though walk-ins are possible. One reviewer also notes being able to swap items they did not want for something else.

“Went in for dinner with my 5 and 2 year old, partner and friend, and it was amazing. The food was wonderful. They had an entirely gf menu which was fab as my friend is gf and some places don't cater as well for her. The service was impeccable- Grace looked after us really well, but all the staff were lovely, friendly and enthusiastic. Its one of the few places I've been to where my kids didn't feel like an inconvenience. And the kids eat free deal was an awesome added bonus. Would definitely recommend.”

“Easy to find restaurant very close to the Abbey & Roman Baths. We had brunch sitting outside on a gorgeous sunny day in Bath. Excellent service & food and able to swap things we didn't want for something else. Interesting and tasty speciality coffee. Served by Liz”

“I had the most wonderful birthday brunch at Bill’s! From the moment we arrived, Liz made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to make my birthday extra special. Her warm, friendly service really made the experience. We shared the avocado on toast and the berry pancake stack, and both were absolutely delicious, fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. I couldn’t recommend them more! A huge thank you to Liz for making the morning so memorable. We’ll definitely be back again soon!”
