About Railway Inn Rhosddu
Railway Inn Rhosddu is a pub on Railway Rd in Wrexham, near the racecourse ground. A log-burning fire sits in the main room, and darts and pool give regulars something to play. A quiz night adds a organised evening for those who want one. Three big screen TVs show live sports through Sky Sports. The bar pours pints of Guinness and Madri. Food comes from the bar as baps, sandwiches and snacks rather than a full food menu. Dogs are welcome, so owners can bring them along for a drink. Parking is available opposite the pub.

Customer Review Summary
Pint quality is the main draw at this traditional local pub, with reviewers singling out Guinness and Madri, and one describing the beer as ice cold. Close behind is the welcome, with the friendly atmosphere and bar staff mentioned repeatedly, along with a warm reception for first-time visitors. Several mention the open log fire, darts and pool, and three big screens showing Sky Sports, and one recommends it for a match day pint. A Sunday quiz is called a lot of fun. Reviewers also describe it as a small, close-knit pub with reasonably priced drinks. Food is limited, and reviewers say so plainly: baps, premade or fresh sandwiches and snacks from the bar, which one says makes it a drinking pub, though another notes the choices cover vegetarians and pescatarians. One reviewer remembers drinking here in the late 70s and 80s and says it has stood the test of time.

“This place is a little tucked away but well worth going to if you are heading to the racecourse ground or just visiting Wrexham. It has indoor and outdoor seating showing live sports. The staff were very friendly and more than willing to be helpful. There wasn’t a food offering per say other than baps on the bar, however there was a wide variety for both vegetarians and pescatarians as well as omnivores. Prices are more than reasonable and there is parking opportunities opposite.”
