  “Lovely pub just outside of Wrexham. Visited recently on the way to a Wrexham game. Was looked after by John & Lisa. Was recommended the fish and chips washed down with a pint of Wainwright. Perfect. Noticed they offer a 3 course menu at weekends - beer garden massive. Perfect for kids to play or to enjoy the sun! Will definitely be back”

  “I looked over the menu and was taken by the ultimate chicken burger but it was made with a southern fried chicken burger, I do not like and cannot tolerate any kind of spice, even southern fried, I discussed with the bar about replacing the southern fried chicken with the buttermilk chicken goujons which are available as part of another meal. I was assured this could be done, my meal arrived with southern fried chicken, I asked it to be looked at and was ASSURED IT WAS BUTTERMILK. it wasnt, so don't appreciate being gaslit by your staff, or their lack of understanding in what food is and how 2 different types of chicken should be identified. I removed the chicken from my burger and ate hash brown and bacon burger from what was left. It was fathers day and I already made a point twice in having it corrected to be told that i was in fact wrong that the southern fried chicken was not southern fried, i wasn't making a bigger fuss to embarrass my family when we booked this for his fathers treat which was £80 for 3 adults so not exactly reasonable pricing either to be left with bread and hash brown as my meal, by this point i just paid and left.”

  “The last time we had from here it was great, we had our booking pre booked for 4 people, when arriving we was greeted by a manager, when we stated it was a dining booking we was literally refused service, the manager was very rude when replying saying that the kitchen closes between 8.00 - 8.30pm on Sundays which is not true, online it states the kitchen closes at 9pm. She obviously just wanted an early finish and couldnt be bothered to serve anyone.. unfortunately we Will not be returning here again..”

  “One of the best places to eat in the chain. Lovely warm welcome and the needs of an elderly disabled person in our group were catered for wonderfully. The three dishes we ordered were all of a ample size and piping hot. No long wait to be served and it was delicious. Definitely one to revisit and recommend.”
