Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often point to a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, with regulars who look out for each other and bar staff described as friendly and efficient. Good value comes up repeatedly, with cheap drinks, a well stocked bar and a good Guinness. Karaoke and music are close behind, and one visitor on business says strangers included them in everything and even got them singing. Another came on Wolverhampton Pride day and found a good friendly crowd. One returning customer calls it an old time pub and a firm competitor for Wetherspoons. Criticism is less frequent but specific. One reviewer says service turns slow when the disco is on and wants more staff, and another says the pub needs a major refurb after about ten years away. A third reports bar staff and the owner being disrespectful, with a free drink offered, then refused as too late, followed by a rant that cost the pub three regulars.

“This was, without question, the worst experience I’ve ever had at a venue. As a woman, I was subjected to behaviour that I found sexually inappropriate and completely unacceptable. I was also spoken to in an abusive, degrading, and intimidating manner. No customer should ever be made to feel unsafe or humiliated by members of staff. To make matters even worse, staff then approached my vulnerable family member, who was already unwell, and their actions left her extremely frightened and distressed. Watching someone in that condition be treated that way was heartbreaking and completely unacceptable. The toilet facilities were absolutely disgusting. They were filthy, unhygienic, and looked as though they hadn’t been properly cleaned. The overall standard of cleanliness was appalling. This is not a welcoming, safe, or professional environment. I have raised my concerns through the appropriate channels and will continue to do so because I believe other customers deserve to know about my experience. Based on what I experienced, I would strongly advise others to think twice before visiting. This version is direct and impactful while focusing on your own experience and observations, which tends to make a public review more credible.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a great time at Old Still. Always a good atmosphere and great vibes whenever I visit. The two bosses are brilliant and always make people feel welcome. Service is spot on, the venue has a fantastic atmosphere, and it's a place I always enjoy coming back to. Highly recommended if you're looking for a friendly place with great hospitality in Wolverhampton. 👏🍻🔥”
