“My friend and I went for lunch and sat outside in the garden, which is perfect for a sunny day. It was quiet at the time (1- 3pm Thursday) but i daresay it is probably a lot busier at the weekends. The service was very good and so was the food/drink if a little more expensive than our locals but would definitely go again as a change of scenery in a nice setting is always worth a little extra.”

“A beautiful traditional country pub with great food and friendly polite staff. We went at lunchtime on a week day, so it was very quiet. So cosy and welcoming, I wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely be back for dinner one evening or for some relaxing drinks in the garden.”

“First time at The Old Hatchet. We went for a few drinks and it was lovely. Staff friendly, place was very clean. Lovely decor and had an "Oldy world" feeling about it. Bathroom was squeaky clean too. Friend had a few picky bits to eat which she enjoyed.”
