“The staff are outstanding. My little girl who has autism, she isnt the best at talking or explaining had a melt down and and the lovely ladies where amazing! Gave her a bracelet as a distraction and honestly made all our day. You now have 3 forever customers. The food was outstanding 👌 thank you.”

“This place was always our go to takeaway but, a few months ago, we were disappointed a couple of times with the quality of the food. We decided not to go back. However, tonight, we decided to try again and, unfortunately, we were again disappointed. The batter on the regular cod was like rubber - not at all crispy - and the chips were pale and soggy. What's happened to what was the greatest fish and chips shop on the planet? New management perhaps? We won't be back.”

“It came recommended ... lovely village with an interesting history, worth a visit! The fish n chips were OK but not great ... the batter was good, and lightly golden fried but the fish lacked flavour. Chips were again OK but have had better. Lovely picnic bench sitting area outside on grass.”

“Beautifully cooked and tasty chips, lovely colour to them, crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. You can tell they're made fresh. Fish also beautiful. Lovely thick white cod fillet with a golden crispy batter. Batter crispy all the way through - no soggy batter here! Not a long wait either.”
