  “So this is our 3rd time visiting The Fox and Finch. We come here while we are on our holidays. The staff are everything you can ask for, in a warm welcome with a fantastic smile. The restaurant has a fantastic vibe with good music. Not too loud which is great. The food is amazing as always. We have the fish platter. Meat platter with sides. The quality is 1st class. And value for money. Thanks once again for looking after us on our annual visit. See you next year. Ian.”

  “If you visit one place for amazing food,drink and fantastic service,then you'll be heading to Fox and Finch in Whitley Bay.Ty in particular is uber attentive ,friendly and a genuinely nice chap, nothing is a bother ,top man.Consistently superb experience, always our go to place for special events and whenever we can get booked to visit as a treat.”

  “Wow! In the area the food is fabulous what a change from the usual, we had the meat platter and one extra dish loads of food for two people. The place is absolutely spotless and Rebecca was so lovely. If you are in the area it’s a must visit. We will be back. 😋😋😋”

  “Out for a dog walk and decided to pop into Fox & Finch for a cup of tea. The food coming out of the kitchen looked so good that I couldn’t resist staying for breakfast! I ordered the Mexican Eggs with merguez sausages, hot sauce, and all the extras – and wow, it was a solid 10/10. Having lived in Mexico for a while, I can honestly say it was the real deal. Full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and exactly what I didn’t know I needed after a morning walk. The service was lovely and welcoming throughout. I finished things off with an excellent espresso, which rounded everything off perfectly. Most importantly, the dog was well looked after too, with a fresh bowl of water and some dog treats, which was a lovely touch. Safe to say I’ll be adding this stop to my regular walking route from now on. Thanks guys! 🙏”

  “Had a number of visits here the lunches are amazing & I wanted more however the breakfast looked good but didnt taste great. This wouldn't stop me from returning, staff are great, parking terrible”

  “Remarkably average tapas. Wasn't expecting an authentic Spanish experience but if I'd served that patatas bravas at home, my family would have been sad. The chorizo might well have been microwaved for all I know as the texture was rubbery at best and devoid of any flavour. As an aside, the potatoes were not diced as per menu but were wedges. In terms of service, we had a table booked for 1900 but were told we would have to order quickly as the kitchen closed at 1930, which may explain the above. Expected better for the price.”

  “Had a great time at Fox & Finch. The atmosphere is spot on — cosy, stylish, and perfect for a relaxed drink with friends. It’s got that welcoming pub feel but with a really nice modern touch. The drinks were excellent. The Guinness was perfectly poured, and the cocktails were fresh, well-balanced, and full of flavour — you can tell real care goes into them. Presentation was great too, with the citrus garnish and salted rim adding a nice touch. Service was friendly and efficient, and the whole place just had a really good vibe. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink or a longer evening, it’s a great spot. Definitely one of the best places in Whitley Bay for drinks — will be back!”

  “Superb! Food was sooo good and drinks were off the hook good. We haven’t been to a place in a long time that had soooo many amazing drink choices. We got 2 each this time! And the fish tacos and tuna melt were amazing!! And the atmosphere was amazing here. Wish we could come back more often. Nicely done!!”

  “Saw this place and decided to pay a visit . Great location and layout, dog friendly which is always a +plus. Welcomed by staff and seated promptly. Chi I’ve of food is wonderful , opting for the Tapas offer ( 1400-1700hrs , 4 Tapas , 2 glasses of wine or beer for £24.99- excellent value for money ). Tapas was delicious and freshly prepared, portions were great , all served by very friendly and welcoming staff. A very pleasant afternoon , and well Worth a visit .”
