About Nando's Cramlington
Nando's Cramlington is a peri-peri chicken restaurant on Forum Way in Cramlington, where the chicken is flame-grilled and seasoned with African bird's-eye chilli at a choice of heat levels. Guests order and pay through the app or the website, then pick up their own cutlery, sauces and drinks while the kitchen cooks the food and staff bring it to the table. The menu runs from a half chicken to a peri mac n cheese wrap, with spicy rice as a side. The interior carries an African theme.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often come for the food itself, singling out the spicy rice as always great, the sauces, and a peri mac n cheese wrap that one family's child loved. Service is described as quick and friendly, and one reviewer mentions an African-themed interior, though another calls the room dull. Ordering and paying through the app or website, then fetching your own cutlery, sauces and drinks, comes up repeatedly, with some seeing it as a perk for kids and others as thin service. Consistency is the main complaint. Some find the wings bland and rubbery, one half chicken arrived with no leg, and the main course is called pricey for what it is. One reviewer also found empty soap dispensers and a dirty sink in the dining area, and another says the points scheme pays out poorly. The sharpest account describes a chicken burger that arrived pink after a long wait and came back better in colour but not in taste.

“Honestly they need to sort out the points system, joke how much you spend to get the points and when it comes to redeeming them it’s utter crap, not a complaint about the food or service lovely as always.”

“Always an amazing experience when we come here. Service is always so quick and never had a bad one yet. Kieran, Alicia, Kirsty & Dan are always so welcoming too!”

“Honestly what do I have to say. Went to this Nando’s for my 50th birthday the other day and it was shocking. Got a medium heat chicken burger and after 40 minutes of waiting it came out still clucking. Never seen chicken more pink in my life. I sent it straight back and when it returned it was better in colour but not in taste. This burger was like licking the bottom of a dirty welly. The drinks however were not. Thought I would just go for the refillable drinks option and my Pepsi max had no syrup and tasted like it was out of a Skegness wash tap. Safe to say I won’t be returning to Nan-DONT.”

“The food I find hit n miss. Occasionally the wings are a little bland and rubbery. The spicy rice is always great. The music is also a bit bonkers at times. Staff are fine but for that kind of money I just expect a little more consistency in the meal quality.”

“Dont get me wrong the food was banging but i ordered half a chicken and i must of got the short straw, it has no leg and looked like it had been starved until they killed it”
