Customer Review Summary
Homemade duck spring rolls come up most, described as delicious and served with a homemade sweet chilli sauce that one reviewer says puts others to shame. Close behind are the satay dishes, including chicken satay skewers, prawn toast and a satay sauce one diner prefers to what they had in Thailand. Others single out the roasted duck, king prawns in wasabi, dim sum, Singapore noodles and the house special Nasi Lemak. Set meals are praised for good value, with homemade sauces and a wide variety of dishes. Staff are called friendly and welcoming, and the room cosy and home-style. The criticism is narrower but specific. One takeaway customer received grey, soggy, overcooked coconut rice and ribs with hardly any meat, in a smaller portion than usual. Another says staff refused to cancel a phone order and ended the call abruptly. One reviewer writing a review mid-meal was brought a taster of the dish they were praising.

“Cozy and relaxing atmosphere with great food. One of the best roasted duck you could taste in the area, same for the king prawns in wasabi. Special mention to the waiting staff manager and Ciri for their kind dedication and effort to create a delightful hospitality experience.”

“Dropped in on a quiet Tuesday, to the most surprisingly delicious set meal for 2. All sauces homemade and amazing, to accompany the wide variety of included dishes. We will definitely return.”

“Wonderful food, delightful service. The tastiest meal I have had ina while. Perfectly cooked, fresh vegetables, piping hot, good size portion and absolutely delicious. Profession and friendly staff that treated us with care and kindness. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys tasty food with a smile.”

“Placed an order on the telephone, within 5 minutes realised they have a 2 star hygiene rating from previous reviews. I then went online to the food standards agency and it was confirmed, the shop was kindly asked to cancel the order as we don’t feel comfortable eating here. The lady on the phone abruptly said not possible, without any reassurances that the food will be ok and cooked fresh said I am wasting their time and put the phone down. Extremely unprofessional and seems the restaurant has some issues going on.”
