About Hungamaa Stockton Heath
Hungamaa Stockton Heath is a restaurant at 109 London Rd in Warrington, with a menu that pairs tapas-style small plates with traditional Indian dishes. Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the friendly, attentive staff, who check in on drinks, accommodate requests like mixing tikka into a lentil dish, and leave diners feeling welcomed. The food comes close behind, with the lamb saag called a highlight by one reviewer who found the mains authentic and full of depth. Others name the Chicken 65, Chicken Tikka Korma, amritsari fish, Manchurian momo dumplings, daal makhni and fresh garlic naan. Small plates from the tapas-style menu, the house IPA and the spicy marj cocktail also earn praise, and starters are described as large. A family visiting nearby found a kids' section with good choices, and very mild noodles arrived exactly as requested. The one recurring reservation is value: a reviewer found the mixed grill platter tasty but its portion size and quality did not justify the high price. One diner notes a service charge is already added to the bill. Several say they are returning, including a second-time visitor who praised the fresh naan.

“We had a fantastic experience here! The food was absolutely delicious, with a really good selection of options across both the two-course and three-course menus. The Chicken 65 was particularly tasty, and the Chicken Tikka Korma was also excellent — both were full of flavour and cooked perfectly. The service was just as impressive. I genuinely couldn’t fault the waiters or staff. Everyone was extremely polite, friendly and attentive. They regularly checked in to make sure everything was okay, that we were enjoying our food, and whether we wanted any more drinks. Overall, a lovely meal with great food, excellent service and plenty of choice. We really enjoyed our experience and would definitely come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
