About The Victoria
On Lower Rushall St in Walsall, The Victoria is a real ale pub with a selection of cask beers served from hand pumps. The bar also pours wine, spirits, craft ale, lagers and cider, so the drinks list reaches beyond the cask range. Upstairs, a games room holds a dartboard and a pool table for groups who want something to play. Downstairs, two snug rooms offer separate spaces, and one of them hosts entertainment. Homemade sausage rolls come from the kitchen to go with a pint. Live sports play on the TV, and live music turns up on occasion. Dogs are welcome inside.

Customer Review Summary
Real ale is the draw at this back street pub, with reviewers praising the hand pump selection, a well poured pint, and a good choice of cask beers. Friendly staff and a welcoming feel come up repeatedly, and one reviewer calls it brilliant and highly recommends it. Food earns specific mentions too: a Sunday lunch of beef and pork with mash, trimmings, and a pudding with loads of custard, plus homemade sausage rolls that one reviewer calls wonderful. Two snug rooms, occasional live music, and sport on television add to the atmosphere, and the outdoor space is described as decent for a pub in town. The main complaint is volume. On a day with a northern soul DJ, one visitor found it too loud to hold a conversation with friends and moved to the beer garden. Another describes neighbours' dogs getting in from next door and going after their own dogs on the patio, though it did not spoil the visit.

“Wow. Been for a super Sunday lunch , One of the best I've had the pleasure of eating. And never seen a pudding like it and loads of custard. We all had the 2 meats lunch . The beef and pork was cooked to perfection and plenty of it. Mash and all the trimmings too. Thank you for a great afternoon and will be back.”

“Real ale pub with a great selection of hand pump beers and friendly staff. Neighbours dogs kept getting in from next door and tried to set upon our dogs outside in the patio area, but I managed to keep them at bay and it didn't spoil our enjoyment of the pub.”
