  “Amazing Pub. Booked it as it said on the website they had a dedicated section that was dog friendly which the staff went above and beyond for. The staff even through over water, comfy dog beds etc in which the dogs slept throughout the entire meal. The food was excellent and at a great price. 100% recommend.”

  “We are staying in the Walton hotel & thought at short notice we'll pop in the New Inn for tea. Ill be honest our bill came to £40 for my wife & I which is more than we normally pay on average. However the whole evening was spot on and we absolutely could not find any faults with the Food, presentation, service & atmosphere. In fact it was worth every penny.”

  “We booked Lock Eleven for a meal for 16 people following our wedding. The team allowed us to go the night before to decorate the room (the room is nice and rustic without any decoration though). Through decorating and the following day every single member of staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The food was incredible and we were continuously checked in on by the lovely waitress we had. We were made to feel very at home and it made our special day one to remember. A big thank you to all the team, and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending The New Inn for private functions!”

  “Well what can I say, what a amazing place. I frequently visit the New Inn as it's such a welcoming place and the food is such a high quality. So when it came to booking somewhere for my mum's 70th it was the obvious choice. I booked Lock Eleven which is a private dining area, that also has an amazing outdoor terrace. From the moment I booked I cannot fault the service, I was called in advance to check on the booking and if we had any requirements, they explained that we could have the room all evening. I also asked if they could provide cheese boards that are not on the menu and it wasn't an issue at all,they were so accommodating. The young Man who served us (apologies for forgetting his name) was outstanding, he was attentive, hard working, polite. and had unbelievable PATIENCE? 🫣Having worked in the pub industry years ago, staff like him are hard to find. He went above and beyond to help out. As I want to leave an honest review, I need to mention that unfortunately the food took a long time to arrive (this could be because we did order later than anticipated), and some of the food was a little overcooked. What I will say though, as soon we mentioned it, the overcooked food was taken away and replaced quickly. The staff couldn't apologise enough. The rest of the order was outstanding, portion sizes are above par, and quality of ingredients shows through, it has to be as I have a very fussy partner and he had no complaints, which rarely happens. Even the waiting did not spoil the evening, I would highly recommend The New Inn for any occasion. Our waiter deserves a pay rise, or at least a bonus!!”

  “On a little stroll in the countryside, my partner and i stumbled upon this lovely place where we had a drink and enjoyed the outside seating. Modernised pub with professional staff. Shame that the lady had to jump between reception and bar. Had to ask to be served, which is never good. It was not her fault. We enjoyed our drinks, and our journey continued.”
