About The Glasshouse
The Glasshouse is a cocktail bar in Tunbridge Wells, at 45 Mount Ephraim. A live DJ plays on some nights, giving the bar a music-led side next to its extensive and varied cocktail menu. The Hugo and the Amaretto sour are among the drinks on that list, and the bartenders make recommendations on request. Beer on tap sits alongside the cocktails, and a happy hour covers certain drinks. Sports are shown on the TV. Window seats come with a view.

Customer Review Summary
Cocktails are the draw at this Tunbridge Wells bar, with reviewers praising a varied, substantial menu. They name a French Martini with a dried raspberry garnish, a dry stirred vodka martini with a lemon twist, a Hugo, an amaretto sour and a crème brûlé old fashioned, though one finds that last one sweet. Close behind is the bar staff, described as friendly, professional and quick even with a full bar, with one bartender singled out repeatedly for good recommendations. Window seats get a mention for the view, and one reviewer notes a live DJ and happy hour on certain drinks. The caveats are specific: one reviewer found it crowded and too loud for a small place, and another watched Prosecco go into an English Garden cocktail that the menu lists with Chapel Down fizz. The server first denied it, then admitted the error, offered Chapel Down on the next drink and still charged for it, and the cocktail tasted too sweet. A tap beer also didn't agree with one drinker.

“Excellent spot for a drink at night or early evening. Window seats offer a great view too.”

“Flo was absolutely amazing as our bartender tonight!! She had excellent recommendations and really looked after us. I will be hard pressed to go to a different bar from now on. This will absolutely be my new spot. The boys behind the bar (kai and Jack I believe) were absolute gems too. Fast service even with a full bar. Love these guys!! 💖”

“The best cocktail bar in RTW. Asked for a suggestion although the menu was varied and substantial. This was no problem and I was crafted a French Martini - chilled glass, dried raspberry garnish and not too sweet just how I like it! Also a fab Vodka martini made super dry - stirred ( also just how I like it ) served in a chilled glass with a lemon twist. Proper cocktails made with decent ingredients by professional and happy bar staff !! Live DJ was on the way unfortunately I missed that as I had to leave. Clean, bright and light toilets. The most beautiful windows offering a great view which I imagine gets better as the sun goes down! I was not paying attention but there was happy hour on certain drinks so worth calling and asking if that might interest you!”
