  “Literally can’t express enough how brilliant the staff were at accommodating us (my father uses a mobility scooter) and how good the pub is. Food was great, plentiful and reasonably priced. The look and feel of the pub is perfectly ‘Stratford Upon Avon’ - it’s a legit old building and yet spacious enough for comfortable drinking and dining inside. Service was impeccable and sincerely friendly. I’d recommend the Beef & Raclette pie or the roast - you won’t be disappointed.”

  “Fantastic. We visited The Garrick Inn this past Monday and couldn't have asked for a better experience. It has a wonderfully inviting atmosphere with all its historic charm. The staff were super friendly and attentive, making the service top-notch from start to finish. A perfect spot to relax.”

  “Myself, partner and two children have recently visited here for a few drinks and food. What can i say? Absolutely outstanding from start to finish! The Garrick Inn exceeded all of our expectations. The food was simply incredible – every dish was beautifully cooked, full of flavour, and presented perfectly. It's easily one of the best meals we've had. The service was second to none. A huge thank you to Atif and Pippa, who looked after us so well. They were warm, friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. A special mention also goes to the chef, Sean, whose talent truly shines through in every dish. The combination of amazing food, exceptional service, and a fantastic atmosphere made for a perfect dining experience. We left already looking forward to our next visit. We couldn't recommend the Garrick Inn highly enough – a well-deserved five stars!”

  “We had an absolutely delicious and delightful experience in the Garrick in Stratford upon avon last week. Atif and Pippa are an absolute credit to the restaurant and could not do enough for us! We are a veggie/vegan/pescetarian family so dining out can be tricky, but Atif brought us the restaurant iPad so we could filter out what we didn't want to eat and then it showed us all our options. Great for allergy sufferers too, you could filter on gluten free, dairy free etc. Our meals were delicious! I had the veggie burger (it had a fancied name but it escapes me now!), husband has the vegan Galette which was pasty with creamy mushroom filling, kids had fish and chips and Quorn sausages and everyone had clean plates. Atif even brought my son extra chips because he loved them so much. Kids had dessert of brownie and strawberries with ice cream, husband had vegan apple and blackberry crumble, unreal! Service was 10 star nevermind 5! Only negative is it's so far away from home otherwise we would be back much sooner! Great atmosphere and older worlde decor really keeps the places character alive. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience, being so lovely with our children and not treating the veggie/vegans like an inconvenience! Special thanks to Atif for rescuing the disaster if a spilt drink and just being a really lovely chap!”

  “A beautiful pub full of character. Atif the barman was very attentive - a perfect host. Offered samples of beer which we tried and settled on a pale ale and a bitter. Lovely atmosphere and spent our time chatting with other visitors. A really enjoyable time.”

  “Me, my partner and our twin boys have been here 3 or 4 times and in the last month or so. The food is always perfect, great sizes and great value for money. The atmosphere is lovely. Even when it’s busy there is a calm and peaceful feel to the place. The staff are superb, it’s a very family friendly place. I have 3 year old twin boys who were born very prematurely and as a result have slight behavioural issues and the staff are great with them, even when they’re a bit unsettled and upset the staff don’t judge and always come and interact with the boys by joking with them or just chatting to them. The boys love the food here too! The kids menu is great!”

  “Very pleasant atmosphere in the lovely old historical building. Got a chicken and bacon ciabatta and it came out nice & hot not to mention very tasty. Only mild issues is that I wish the sandwich had more filling & came with more than just a handful rocket and pickeled red onion. Also there aren't many tables so you need to grab on first chance you get.”

  “We were on a weekend trip to Stratford -on-Avon and came across the Garrick. It looked fantastic from the outside and it was just as good on the inside, being the oldest Inn in Stratford. We were assisted by extremely pleasant and helpful staff. There was plenty of chat and good bantering. We took a table and selected our meals. My wife had the Duck Hash and I had the Stake and Ale pie. The food was with us in a very decent time, it was hot, delicious and filling. I have been a number of times to Guy Fawkes in York, which is known for its pies. Well I can say that the Garrick knocked the spots off of Guy Fawkes. So if you are looking for an atmospheric venue that serves exceptional food, the the Garrick is the place to be.”
