  “We had the best time here this week! We had just got to Stratford Upon Avon for our 2 night stay and wandered into the centre to find a spot for dinner! We stumbled across the encoure and thought it looked lovely so went in to see what it was about! The staff were super attentive and welcomed us in, the place is beautiful! We got super lucky with our timing and were able to join in on the pub quiz whilst we had our dinner and a couple drinks! This was a fantastic start to our trip and we had a brilliant time, I believe it was Rory who was running the quiz and he was so great! Thank you Rory !! The food was incredible and the atmosphere was lovely with all the candles!! highly recommend x”

  “Lovely find in Stratford We were staying local and wanted a place for dinner and they were a lovely little find which was dog friendly Lots on the menu too chose from with some healthy options and calories on the online menu for those who want to be mindful of their choices We also managed to go on a Wednesday where they do a quiz for only £2 which was a great little addition to the evening and the guy who did the quiz was funny and added to the quiz making it enjoyable! The food was great, nice quality and tasty too with good portion sizes and good value for money - we spent ~£50 for 2 people for 2 courses and a drink each which isn’t too bad Would highly recommend to anyone passing through for lunch or dinner (a solid pub quiz)”

  “The staff here were so helpful when it came to my gluten free intolerence, they were knowledgable and incredibly helpful at adapting dishes for me! On top of that they were all really friendly and welcoming. Food was really tasty and its a nice and chill atmosphere! Would 100% come back again!”

  “we were a group of 12 who needed a table on the last Saturday night of summer holiday 2026 and we started looking for options in the evening of Friday, Encore was the only restaurant who could accommodate our reservation without pending it which we were grateful. However, the service exceed our expectations by a lot as servers were really kind and attentive foods were delicious and arrange was very organised and efficient. I especially appreciate the qr code ordering since I am not a fan of shouting out order for 12 persons in the bar. They were even capable to offer a birthday dish to us with last minute request. Very satisfying experience overall!”

  “A bit pricier than we initially expected, however one of the best pies I have had in my life time. Nice variety of food and cosy atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive. Lovely experience.”

  “Great food, fantastic service from Callum. Recommend the Mushroom starter and the lamb rump. Management do however need to sort out the decor on the stairs leading up to the upstairs dining area- very shabby.”

  “So glad we decided to eat here today. The food was absolutely fabulous. We had Duo of pork, the special Rotisserie Chicken Pappardelle, Squid and Halloumi Fries. All brilliant! A huge thank you to Debbie who greeted, seated and served us today at Encore with such great energy and a beaming smile. Can’t wait to visit again!”

  “Excellent food and very friendly staff. Considering we visited at one of the busiest days of the year with the Stratford Upon Avon Christmas Market, we were served promptly and had top quality food for our lunch. Couldn't resist the fish & chips! Just a stones throw away from RSC, so i'm sure would be great for a pre or post Theatre Dinner also.”

  “We visited Encore on a Sunday without a booking and decided to take a chance. The team was very accommodating and managed to find us a table for five, kindly letting us know they’d need it back at a certain time — which was absolutely fine with us. We were seated upstairs, and our server came over shortly after to take our order. The food arrived in about 15 minutes and was delicious! I had the roast chicken, which was full of flavour, and everyone else enjoyed their meals too. They even brought extra gravy and vegetables on the side — a nice touch, though I found the shredded veg a bit bitter for my liking. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout, and we actually finished with time to spare. Overall, great food, good service, and a pleasant Sunday experience — we’ll definitely be back!”
