Quick info
About The Station
The Station is a pub on High St in Birmingham that fills its week with free live music on Monday, Thursday and Friday, with Jam Jah Mondays among the regular nights. The kitchen serves Sunday roast, including a trio of meats option and a nut roast, and a banoffee waffle is the vegan dessert. The bar pours craft ales and premium lagers, and football match nights are held on site. Inside, the decor is quirky, with a pink moose bust on the wall. A dedicated function room is set aside for groups and parties. The pub is open daily.

“Unfortunately, this pub has become a major source of noise during the summer, especially late at night. The loud music, customers gathering outside, and noise from football match nights make it very difficult for nearby residents to sleep. While I understand people want to enjoy themselves, there should be more consideration for the local community and better management of noise levels, particularly late in the evening.”

“The pub has been leaving large commercial waste bins in the back street by Valentine Road and they are regularly left overflowing and not properly collected. The smell has become unbearable, we have seen rats around the area, and there are flies everywhere. This is directly next to residential homes and several neighbours are extremely unhappy about the situation. We have already reported the waste and hygiene problems to the council. The condition of this back street is completely unacceptable and has had a serious negative impact on the surrounding neighbourhood. The management needs to take responsibility, remove the overflowing waste promptly, keep the area clean and stop treating a residential street like a dumping ground.”

“Sunday roast was amazing, fresh, tasty, hot and a large portion. I love spicy gravy and it was no problem for the chef, Nathan, to bring me some extra condiments out. Nathan, Anthony and all the staff are friendly and helpful.”

“Gutted went to try them for the first time ordered a meat platter they didn't tell me they didn't have it so just put cooked meat on a platter the bread burnt, when I was offered a refund I was charged again - a lot of fumbling and disappointment. No one minds mistakes and things run out but talk to your customers tell them you've charged them twice rather than not mentioning and refunding. Explain its run out don't just plop a plate of burnt food down and expect me to pay £17.50 for the privilege.”
