  “Wow I've been here a few time's now and every time I think amazing. The steak and Guinness pie was delicious. Great value for money very friendly staff and just a beautiful place to eat. Prices are so good thanks”

  “Beef sunday roast was just superb. Got extra yummy veggies platter for the table. Remote location made it peaceful and quiet.”

  “The pub is beautiful, with lovely surroundings, great outdoor space, and nice atmosphere. The roast meal was delicious; perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and one of the best we've had in a long time. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and always smiling, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We'll definitely be back!”

  “Found this gem looking for a pit stop on the way to Hastings. The staff are friendly and have great customer service. The food was great but the desserts were delicious! The apple and cinnamon crumble was the size of my face and there was no scrimping on the custard! Didn’t see the views mentioned in other reviews as it was pouring down with rain but the pub was so cosy we didn’t mind!”

  “Great country pub with fantastic service. I went for a family meal for 5 people and we all had a roast. I had the beef which was beautifully tender and served with all the trimmings. A couple of things (mainly potatoes and the Yorkshire) were overdone, but still a great standard for a pub roast. The staff were the absolute highlight, however, as they were bubbly, friendly, and very attentive. They remembered my family from previous visits and were exceptionally welcoming. Overall a great experience.”
